Top Mono Lake Committee Information Center Hotel Reviews
"We were allowed to change our reservation the night before we were to check in! The view outside of our room towards Nevada was delightful with a balcony. Very clean. Pleasantly surprised, great staff. Love the place."
"The owners and staff went above and beyond in making us feel welcome and in helping us. When we checked in we were given a free upgrade, because we were staying several days and there were higher-priced rooms that had not been reserved (post Labor-day). They supply everyone with a "goody bag" containing the makings for S'mores (to be made in fire rings near the creek) and fish food to feed the young trout that they are raising in tanks behind the hotel for release into the creek. We were given great advice on places to visit. The staff supplied us with plates from the kitchen to heat the leftovers from our meal at their restaurant. (We were quite pleased with the restaurant, by the way.) They also gave us tea bags, coffee capsules, and a small pitcher of milk for our breakfasts in our room. Everyone was very friendly and helpful.
The facility is old and a bit funky, but the bed was comfortable and we were quite happy there. Don't expect a modern luxury resort. "
