“Kitchen was very well stocked. BBQ was great along with all the tools for it. Very comfortable bed, quiet location. Neighbours are friendly. Outdoor gazebo is a nice spot to hang out in outside. Place was very clean and comfortable. Across the street was easy access for swimming, our dog loved it! Internet signal was strong and reliable. ”

“Cozy, clean, calm, cottage with canoes! We stayed here once two summers ago and my son asked us about it this year, prompting us to plan another getaway. We booked two nights for us and our friends with their toddler. We spent the whole time in or around the house or the beach, relaxing. Kayaking on the river and seeing the goats are highlights each time. Renfu is very hospitable, answering all our questions and keeping the grounds tidy. “The rustic look and feel of the house was wonderful. It was exactly as the pictures showed. Also the games room in the basement is very nice to have. In particular we enjoyed the pool table. The location and property are very quiet which we appreciated. The town was small but we still had a chance to explore, and also enjoyed a hiking next to a waterfall about a 15 minute drive from the propery. Overall we had a good experience.”

“We had a lovely time staying at the property. There was so much character in this beautiful, old home. Each bedroom was spacious and the bathrooms were recently renovated. There was lots of social spaces and we really enjoyed sitting on the deck looking at the stars. The check-in and our processes were easy and we loved that there were so many little touches that made the stat super notable, like coffee, sugar, condiments and laundry soap. We would absolutely stay here again. ”

All the fun you can handle from outdoor picnic tables , fire pit area lit with lights Two separate lounging decks and a huge dock with ladder to access the lake for swimming plus a platform. Kayaks and canoe and a boat rental place near by. Now inside is clean and modern spaces with everything you need. Beautiful views and even a designated office space and WiFi. We were surprised with flowers and a basket of goodies and even a bottle of wine . Our representative……

“The log house on old Stone Road is a charming gem boasting a unique history. Our host and his family were invested in making our stay comfortable and memorable. Our dogs were also welcomed with walking trails on the property. This is a beautiful and comfortable home that easily accommodates 8 people. It was an excellent meeting place for our families. Westport is a mere 3 minute drive down the road. Ideally situated in the Rideau Lakes area. Highly recommend this property to future guests.”
