“Absolutely perfect space and property! I wish we all could have stayed longer. Everything needed was laid out impeccably! A couple of small items: the amount of toilet paper was insufficient -- what was described was, 3 rolls would be provided in each bathroom. Instead each bathroom had only partial rolls. We had to go out to purchase more! Paper towel was also in short supply.Other then these small items, we all loved the Sleeping Bear Lair... It helped us all get rested and ready for race day!”

“Plenty of room for four, location was perfect for our family group. We saw deer in the backyard! Would have liked a bigger tv to watch movies on but that minor detail would not stop us from renting again if we are back in the area.”

“Loved the place! Felt like coming home. They provided so much, we wouldn’t have to bring anything to have a good time. The kitchen was stocked with spices, oil, paper towels and trash bags. The cupboards were filled with a good amount of cooking tools too. Same thing in the bathroom: towels, shampoo and conditioners were all offered by the owners. The outside was really nice too and offered a lot to do on the lake. The little dock lets you get into the water easily with one of the paddling……

“My family and I spent four nights here. The property is well maintained and looked just like the photos. It's a great location if you plan on exploring the Leelenau peninsula and the surrounding national lakeshores. The hot tub was pristine and definitely had the best views I've had from a hot tub. There was also plenty of firewood supplied for the Solo stove. Overall I would definitely stay here again.”

“The cabin was the perfect size for myself and my two grown sons. We enjoyed the kayaks, canoe and fire pit. Grilled out a couple of nights, saw a bald eagle and even witnessed a comet streaking across the Star-filled sky. Thank you!”
