“The hotel is as in a beautiful area around the River Severn . The room was lovely with comfy beds. The food was excellent, I would stay there again and highly recommend it.”

“Lovely hotel. Rooms were beautiful,clean and comfortable. Hotel good was excellent. The only issue we had was there was EXTREMELY load live music pulsating through our rooms until 11pm which did spoil the stay.”

“I first stayed at Brownhill in 2006 while I was helping my daughter to settle in to her first job, at PGL, Boreatton Park. To give her space and time to settle in, I stayed at Brownhill House each time she had a day off, for her first few weeks, and travelled myself in between visits (to show her that if Mum can do it, then so can she!). This is probably my last trip to the UK, and I chose Brownhill again as it's close to the Ironwork Centre near Oswestry. The place is still as lovely and……

“My sister and I meet up once a year and we had a lovely stay. I got the booking wrong and forgot to ask for twin beds and they sorted it out for us. So accommodating. Lovely place for exploring Coalport and ironbridge. ”

“The stay was good. Easy to check in. Convenient location. Clean and good quality for the price paid. However i have stayed in the same room before and the hot tap in the basin worked. Not on this stay at all. There was hot water from the shower, but if you wanted a wet shave, bad luck! ”

“Convenient to road system but unaffected by traffic noise. Free parking. Reception friendly and efficient. Lifts available. My room had 2 double beds which made the room seem cramped. The bed I used was comfortable. Ensuite bath with an over shower. I had to fix the shower curtain back on the track to avoid soaking the floor. Food good quality and reasonably priced.”

“A little remote, but in a nice environment. Nice and cosy, and run by a old couple. The only drawback for an overall top marks is because of the shower, although it is newly installed, it is difficult to operate and the water pressure is somewhat too low to have a nice shower. The worst part is the wall inside the shower cubicle is dirty but consider the old couple are working hard to run the hotel and also the nice letters restaurants, so it is not a complaint, just would like to point it……

“Love the ease of parking especially for disabled patrons. Receptionist also offered assustance with luggage as lift was not working. Warm welcome as always and after a long drive a room upgrade with free minibar was very welcome. Dinner in hotel was winderful and gluten free options were delicious ”
