Conviviendo con una plaga

La casa tiene una terrible plaga de hormigas, no hablo de unos cientos, hablo de millones, adjunto fotos. Estuvimos 12 días y los seis primeros no pudimos utilizar el jardín. El propietario tuvo que venir todos los días a rociarlas con vinagre, sino por la tarde ya estaba lleno. Aunque el olor era muy fuerte, era preferible a estar rodeado de hormigas. Otros:- El el jardín tiene una estructura con agua estancada e insalubre. Cuidado con los niños. A parte está llenas de ranas que se tiran toda la noche croando.- No puedes ir a la playa andando, hay mas de un kilometro con un desnivel muy pronunciado. Tendrás que ir en coche y es imposible aparcar en el pueblo. Nosotros nos íbamos a playas a 20 o 30 minutos en coche.- La casa tiene más escaleras que el torreón de un castillo, no apto para personas mayores.Lo único que puedo decir bueno de la casa es que tenía bonitas vistas, el resto fue horrible.

Lovely house in a great location

We (2 adults, 2 kids who are 9 and 11) stayed here for 10 days and absolutely loved it, the place was clean and cool and really spacious, the pool was fantastic and the kids could play pool or table tennis if they got bored of that. The lovely town and beach are a short walk down the hill, it has nice eateries and a shop selling amazing pastel de nata and there is a cabana bar at the end of the road that makes great cocktails. Obidos, a medieval hill town and castle is a short drive away that is worth a day trip. The owner is nice and helpful too, an all round great holiday.

Amazing view and swimming pool

This place has a fascinating panorama view on the ocean, from a large balcony, wow effect guaranteed. Then the swimming pool is one of the most beautiful we've ever seen, with its own beach and shiny tiles. It's very calm and relaxing and there is plenty of space outside. It's completely private with no vis à vis. It was great to have a ping pong table, a pool and many bicycles to discover the areas. We had great moments with the family. Only the inside of the house is a bit less charming, it's more of an apartment from which you need to use stairs to go down to the pool but you get used to it. Overall amazing experience and Manuel has been very dedicated and helpful. Very good value for money.

La villa est parfaite, le propriétaire gentil accueillant et à l'écoute. En revanche, je trouve inadmissible qu'Abritel refuse de me fournir une facture totale de ce que nous avons payé pour le séjour. Ils ne fournissent que la facture des frais. Or j'ai bien réglé la totalité du séjour à Abritel et non au propriétaire. Il n'incombe donc pas à ce dernier de me fournir une facture. C'était ma première et dernière réservation via cette plateforme malhonnête.

Great accomodation, good spot.

A good sized appartment within a villa, lots of space. Rented out as a sole occupancy, so pool and facilities were just for us. Fantastic views over beach and village, which is 10-15 minutes walk depending if you are going down the hill or up. Lots of steps in the property, but lower ground garage is converted for a comprehensive games room. Outside eating area is peaceful, and has brick chimney barbeque, which is next to a pond, where you can listen to the frogs talking of an evening. Be careful if you have young children pool/pond isn't fenced, for us not a problem. Fully equipped kitchen for eating in. Take your own supplies. Washing machine as well. Bedrooms are large the main one has sea view and balcony, ideal for sitting out seeing the sunset. Cable TV and WiFi, was more than enough for teenagers and us. You may need to fight for the shower, but there is a 2nd in the games area. Manuel is a great host meeting on arrival and departure, and several unintrusive visits in between to maintain the pool and answer questions. Overall a great find, which would be on the list to revisit. I don't go to many places more than once.

We had a beautiful family trip in this lovely home. The beach is in sight or a short drive away. The owner, Manual, is a kind man who responds quickly to any needs that arise. A wonderful time was had by all and the games help to keep the kids busy.

Notre séjour s’est très bien passé, la maison est bien équipée et très propre. Les extérieurs sont magnifiques et la piscine très appréciable. L’endroit isolé donc très calme, pour se reposer et profiter des vacances c’est idéal !
