“The house was an older home, but Scott is renovating it as he can. Only thing he did not mention was one of the bedrooms did not have a door on it. This worked OK for us since we are all friends and would be fine if there were children. The living and dining rooms were large and more than adequate for the five of us. The main bathroom is dated but clean and functional as was the kitchen. Scott was extremely helpful and even offered to get groceries and/or dinner picked up for us if we were……

“We had one of the best vacations we’ve ever had! The ranch and the family were super friendly and very accommodating answering all our “city folk” questions about ranch life. Our inquisitive 6yo made fast friends with the horses just across the driveway, greeting them each morning and evening. We were able to watch the farrier re-shoe a horse - fascinating! The home is private, clean, and well appointed inside. There is a generous mud room for gear, hats, hiking boots, etc. There is no air……

“We loved our stay at the Gathering Place! Ages 10 day old to a young 64 had a great time enjoying the amenities including children’s toys to hot tub and pool table/pong pong/video shooting game. The cookers in our group really appreciated the very well stocked kitchen. The bunkhouses and bath houses were so clever and clean. When the fam was polled, “ Do this again” a resounding yes from all. We had a wonderfull stay. And Salmon is a hidden gem of Idaho. Thanks Tracey!”

“I like to have at least one "easy chair" in my room, preferably two, when there is two of us staying. They told us at check-in that they upgraded our room to a double queen with a microwave and a fridge. We had originally booked a single queen because the pictures showed an easy chair in that room. (It also had a microwave and fridge.) The double queen room had two uncomfortable hardback chairs at a small table.”
