"We have stayed in Centralia and nearby cities over the years for volleyball at NW Sports Hub. I had never considered staying at Peppermill Empress. I am so used to staying at chain hotels and always get a bit nervous about local hotels. I had a friend stay at Peppermill last fall and told me that it was clean, had friendly staff and felt safe. So I booked it! At half the price of other hotel chains in the area, I was pleasantly surprised. The front desk clerk was very nice and helpful at check-in. Although the property is older, it is well-maintained and was very clean and smelled nice. Our room was very roomy. The breakfast was nice. There’s a pancake maker and plenty of other options for a continental breakfast. The area felt safe and it’s directly across from a Winco grocery store. The location was great! It took 8 minutes to get to NW Sports Hub. I would definitely stay here again!"

"Very clean. Rooms not big but had what was needed for a in and out stay. Had a good size fridge. Would recommend if your looking for an inexpensive place to stay while your in the area. "

"old. sheets were dirty bathroom was nasty water was cold. creepy people hanging out outside and it was noisy from people upstairs. won't ever stay there again."
