Cozy Pet Friendly Cottage, Partial Water View, Sleeps 7, Half Block from Beach!

Welcome to our cozy lake home located in a QUIET cottage community, just steps away (4 houses) from the water with a water view from both the spacious Florida Room and front yard. Short, beautiful walk to the Beach Access located at the end of the street. The cottage includes a fully equipped kitchen, ready for a home cooked meal or visit one of the one of the excellent local restaurants, ranging from casual to fine dining, just minutes away in Downtown Lexington. There are also many fun shops and a performing arts theatre if you would enjoy a day of shopping or catch a show in the evening! The comfortable living room is equipped with a gas fireplace for cooler evenings, flat screen TV, Roku, Wi-Fi, and a Queen Sleeper Sofa for once the day is through. The additional sleeping accommodations include the master featuring a Queen bed with a sliding glass door overlooking the tranquil, fenced back yard. A secondary bedroom offers another queen bed with a twin loft above. The updated full bathroom has a Tub/Shower with medicine cabinet for storage of personal toiletries. A limited number of toiletries provided along linens (sheets, towels, washcloths). This home includes a laundry room with washer & dryer combo (detergent not provided) and features an On Demand Tankless Water Heater for much needed showers after a full day at the Beach. Please bring your own beach towels. We kindly ask that you do not remove or use the towels provided for showers as beach towels.



Community Amenities include a boat ramp, playground, and overflow parking for a boat, trailer, or guest vehicle. On property parking has space for several vehicles but a max height of 7’. Don’t want to be away from your pets or need to save the additional cost of boarding while on vacation? Don’t worry, this Cottage offers a fenced, Pet Friendly home & yard for an additional fee. Please be sure to use the waste bags provided to pick up after pets during walks and also within the fenced back yard (an additional fee will be charged if pet waste is left behind on the grounds). We also provide a dog bowl and treats to make your pet feel at home. Nicely sized back yard with plenty of shade for your family & the pups to lounge. On the rare occasions that the outside temperatures get too high, a portable AC unit is provided to compliment the ceiling fans to increase comfort level.

Don’t forget, this is a Quiet Cottage Community SO PLEASE abide by the quiet time hours of 11pm – 8am, turn down the volume during those hours to be respectful of the neighbors. Please no “party groups”.

An absolutely delightful spot to stay. Scott was amazing (Even when our dogs locked us out one night, lol) and the house was clean, cozy, and perfect for us to come visit family with our pets. The yard was perfect for the dogs, the beds were perfect, and the wifi was great and strong enough to let us both telework. We will DEFINITELY be back to stay. It was perfect!!

Great home, great location

We loved our stay! The home had everything we needed for a comfotable stay at the beach. Plenty of space for the teens to spread out and just steps from beach access. Communication with owners was quick and easy. Highly recommend!

Absolutely perfect! Super close to the beach walk down. Beautiful, clean house with a totally stocked kitchen. Comfortable beds, shades that closed off the total inside of the house, washer and dryer- really we couldn’t have asked for more.

Family beach vacation

Great neighborhood

We had a great time at the beach and walking the neighborhood! The house is perfect with a nice fenced backyard. The sunroom with a view of Lake Huron was really nice place to spend time!

Delightful Family Respite

My family and I took a short getaway with our dog in tow. The cottage was equal parts rustic and modern, whose proximity to the waterfront made for a relaxing break from work and school. Will definitely stay here again.

Beautiful Cottage near Lake Huron

I can’t say enough great things about our stay at this cottage. Our trip here was last minute and Scott went above and beyond to get things ready for us. The cottage is beautiful and extremely clean with all of the items you need to feel at home. The neighborhood is quiet and it’s a one minute walk to private Lake Huron beach access. We will continue to seek out booking this cottage for our trips to the area in the future.

A break from reality at the cutest cottage a free houses away from the water!

This was a great stay for our whole family! The house is super clean, host is so friendly. Amazing coffee selection, got to sit in front sun room to watch the sunset and rise over the lake. Hope to stay again! Comfy bed, best smelling laundry pods, snacks, fireplace, fenced in yard

Loved our stay

The cottage fit our needs to a T. Very comfortable and clean, in a beautiful part of Michigan that was new to us. Our little dog was also happy to have a fenced in yard to hang out in. We are already looking forward to next year.

Wonderful!

We are very happy we stayed here! It is an adorable home stocked with everything we could have needed. We enjoyed sitting in the backyard, going to the beach, sitting in the front porch area, walking the neighborhood, going into downtown Lexington, etc. We give this place 5 stars and can't wait to return.

Perfect!

You can hear the waves crashing into the private beach area from the home. It was a cozy stay! Quiet neighborhood and we brought our little bichon dog with us. We would very much like to stay here again!

Perfect getaway

This cozy cottage was perfect for our short getaway. The property is clean and well appointed. They thoughtfully provided snacks, coffee, dog treats and poop bags for easy cleanup. The kitchen has everything we needed to make quick easy meals. The only thing missing was outside eating area, but loved the fenced yard for our fur kids to enjoy the getaway as well. Close to the lake for enjoyable walks. Would definitely rent again.

Five Stars!

We had a great time here. The bunk bedroom was perfect for our kids and all the beds were comfy. The house itself is super cute and really nicely decorated. The backyard is a great spot for your dog to run around and the sun porch was a wonderful spot to hang out. Perhaps the best part of this gem of a house was its very short distance to the beach at the end of the street. We absolutely loved it here and will definitely be back next summer!

Cozy, cute, and clean!

This quaint, coastal cottage is located toward the end of a quiet street and just a minute's walk from Lake Huron. Our stay included friendly neighbors and beautiful sunrises. The hosts offer a welcoming home with comfortable beds and furniture and a COFFEE bar. Our family loved this cottage, and we all hope to return. More importantly is the responsiveness of the hosts and great communication. My only complaint is that our stay was only 2 days!

Cozy Cottage

I brought my mom for a little getaway for Mothers Day! From the moment I walked in, it felt like home! From the bowl of snacks on the counter to the warm fireplace. Took many walks around the neighborhood and down to the water. The front porch was very relaxing from having coffee in the morning to a drink in the evening! Went to town a few times to shop! You will definitely enjoy your stay!

Beautiful home with PERFECT location

I visited this home with my sister and grandma for a weekend getaway, and it was exactly what we were looking for. The walk to the private Lake Huron beach is only about 5 minutes (but does include 2 flights of stairs). We loved rock hunting at the small private beach as well as at Lakeport State Park which pretty close by. Downtown Lexington is also a close drive, and they have great shops, restaurants, and parks. The home itself was very clean and cozy. We wished we could stay longer than just a weekend— we’re already planning to come back next summer! Thank you hosts for your beautiful home and your consistent and clear communication throughout the booking. :)

Clean, cozy and convenient

My wife and I had a very relaxing stay at this fresh newly appointed cottage. We brought our kids with paws and it was so nice to have a fenced yard to let them out. Most places we’ve stayed don’t and we’ve had to cable them to a stake in the ground. The house is clean and very comfortable. The location was ideal being a short drive from our home and being a few houses from Lake Huron. Lexington is a nice town with good restaurants and everything we needed. The Huron Street cafe does a good version of the Hudson’s Maurice salad called their Harbor salad. The only thing that would have made our trip better is more sun and warmer temps. That’s Michigan weather - oh well. Can’t wait to return next year.

Every thing as advertised and more!

Cuter than the pictures! Coffee bar has kuerig as well as full coffee pot. Plus they had a basket of flavored k cups! Also a basket of snacks on the island(came in very handy when visitors stopped by!) Extra doggie bags for cleaning up after pup(we ran out!) very comfortable furniture, beautiful decor. We lived on the cozy front porch in the mornings and evenings. You can hear the lake when you open the windows. It rained one afternoon and we sat with our visitors in the garage and there are chairs and a fridge out there to keep your beverages. The cottage is tiny but such an open decor that it never felt small. The community and neighbors are so friendly and they had a Bach festival in the Catholic Church in Lexington that neighbors raved about. We took walks up and down the dirt streets 2-3 times a day and also sat on the beach to rock hunt for Michigans famous rocks. We will be back, we love this cottage!!
