Historical home located in the heart of Lexington, Kentucky. One minute walk to Woodland Park, Kroger, Starbucks, bars, and restaurants. Gas station right around the corner. A convenient 3 minute drive and you're in the middle of downtown Lexington. Rupp Arena (1 mi), Kroger Field (1.5 mi), Keeneland (7 mi), Kentucky Horse Park (10 mi), Buffalo Trace Distillery (26 mi). Home has Google Assistant so you are able to control lights, speakers, and thermostat. YouTubeTV and Netlix provided as well. (Home does have nest doorbell for safety feature)

It was easy to get in and the temp inside was great. The bedrooms were large! The bathroom was very small. The loft looked to be a decent size, but was only my wife and I so we didn’t use it. Overall a good place to stay. Close to campus and other places to shop and eat.

Weekend getaway

My husband and I brought our youngest son to visit his half sibling's. We rented a house instead of hotel so that we could cook together play board games and watch movies. It was nice evening location close to geocery. Very quiet area we will be back next year.

Weekend getaway

Lovely little home walking distance to a nice park, some restaurants, and about a mile from UK or downtown Lexington. Kitchen is spacious and well appointed. Bedrooms were big and beds were comfy. Two fireplaces for ambiance and a cool attic space. We would definitely stay here again.

LOCATION

We loved this cozy home and its super comfy beds! It was centrally located and so convenient to downtown! The neighborhood was super safe and very walkable with a Kroger a few blocks away and Uk right around the corner.

Perfect for Concert at Rupp Arena

This was an absolutely perfect spot for a night in Lexington. I had 4 very excited teenage girls going to the Olivia Rodrigo concert at Rupp Arena. They had the perfect space to get dressed up and ready and do pictures before the show. It was an easy drive to drop them off at the Arena. While they were there, my mom and I had the option of walking to several patio restaurants, Graeters Ice Cream and Kroger. The location and neighborhood are fantastic.The space was cozy and inviting. What a magical night.

Keeneland Weekend

This lovely home was just a half mile walk to UK campus (north end) and easy walk to downtown and Rupp Arena. We also were able to easily walk to the nearby Kroger and several restaurants in the area. We had easy drive to both Keeneland (a must do even for people who aren't into live racing) as well as Kentucky Horse Park. The neighborhood is a nice mix of students and families and very safe. The home was actually larger than we anticipated and could have easily accommodated a family with kids, given the extra upstairs space. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware for nearly any meal you would make. The only issue we had was accidentally locking ourselves out by engaging the knob mechanism on the front door. Thankfully the owner was very responsive and solved the issue immediately. We would recommend a sign on the front door inside reminding people to not use the knob lock when leaving, to use the keypad for the deadbolt only. Would 100% stay again for my next trip to Lexington

Great Place To Stay!

This property was perfect for a weekend stay. The house was very clean and had many amenities to offer for guests. The location was perfect as it is super close to Chevy Chase and a five minute walk to Kroger. I would totally recommend staying here!

Convenient and Comfy Home Near UK Campus

This home is a 4 min drive/20 min walk from UK campus. Kroger, Starbucks, Jimmy Johns, and a bagel shop are within a few blocks. A cute used book shop and gift shops are a 10 min walk away and the main public library/downtown area are a 20 min walk. The home itself is a little worn on the outside (needs some paint) but it is cozy and well-decorated inside with many new fixtures and appliances. The home was clean and we melted into the beds. Think hotel quality for the beds and covers. The upstairs loft area was very warm compared to the downstairs and was great for reading and relaxing. Internet connection was ok, but did drop now and then. TV connection was smooth. Kitchen was well-stocked with everything you need for cooking. Bathroom door could use a hook latch as it had a tendency to pop open. Owner was super-responsive. I would highly recommend this home.
