Wonderfull place to visit.
The entire facility is beautifull an worthy of a vist on its own.
Check in was easy , the staff are nice people and very helpfull.
What a great place to stay for a couple of days! The area is lovely, the castle is super cool and the staff is lovely. We went to a nearby medieval town for dinner and it was beautiful. Really enjoyed our stay! Thank you.
This was one of the best accommodations (when it comes to price-quality ratio) I have ever had and I travel a lot. The castle is beautiful and the breakfast is awesome. You can order a la carte as many dishes as you want and they were all delicious.
Staying in a real medieval castle was an amazing experience. The location was unique, the property itself was well maintained and absolutely beautiful. The staff was very attentive and the chef and food quality was outstanding. The fine dining was Michelin level and just fantastic in every way. Make sure you definitely try the croissants in the AM at breakfast. Our stay in Italy was amazing but this made our stay extra special.
Such a magnificent unique place. The management has done a great job picking the staff who ia beautiful inside and outside, and decorating the castle inside and outside. The grounds outside of the castle are amazing and the interior is stunning. Our room was on the second floor with a beautiful view of the hill, And the middle area of the castle was our living room the entire time. The staff is very nice and very accommodating. Breakfast lunch and dinner are amazing. I felt for three days that I was back in time in The Renaissance, the queen of the area. The town at the bottom Has some good restaurants, although be aware of the fact that they have certain schedules meaning they all seem to be closed between 2 to 5 or six in the evening and Tuesday is like a Sunday for the town. Will return

Typical of what I expected staying at a castle, but there were lots of cups and glasses etc left in different areas of the caste from past parties or gatherings that you saw as thou walked around touring the castle. Room was clean though.
The rooms are amazing. The beauty of the castle and it's surroundings is spectacular. However, the parking is sketchy at best and nobody offered to help with our bags and it's quite the walk up the hill with two or three bags. My mother actually fell leaving the property Sunday. The wet cobblestones are slick and dangerous. They have a golf cart that could shuttle guests and their bags easily
Amazing castle, food, staff, location. Everything was breathtaking and beautiful. If ever you have the chance, stay here! Words don't convey the experience. They were preparing for their holiday festivities, and the lights were lovely.
Absolutely wonderful place. Very clean, quiet, amazing view, great staff.. the worst part was knowing that we had only one night in this magical place. Highly recommend!!
What a place! Clearly one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had. Just exploring the castle was an experience in itself, and our room (Aurelia d’Este) was fabulous. One of the most comfortable beds I’ve slept in and the sheets were exquisite. The hotel is off the beaten track and we had a little trouble navigating there by car (but we’re old), and the driveway up the hill to the castle is narrow and intimidating. But boy is it worth it. Dinner was fine but nothing special. Great breakfast with omelets cooked to order. Highly recommended.
What an incredible place to stay. The castle is beautiful, the rooms are spacious and well appointed. Also, the staff was extremely helpful all in all a 10 out of 10. It really doesn’t get much better at a hotel. Also, the restaurant was superb. I only wish we could’ve stayed there for a longer time.
Incredible service and a truly memorable stay in the castle. It had the real feel of an old castle and made our last couple of days in Italy, magical. The food was top notch too!
Unique castle hotel. You will enjoy this definitely if you like to stay at medieval rooms. Only problem was the receptionist could not help us with our luggage’s and we have to climb the hill and stairs by ourselves.

The castle itself is amazing, the views are phenomenal. You're staying in a castle on top of a mountain so it's like a fairytale
The staff were so nice to us
I only had 2 concerns, a lot of maintenance needed to the room also be prepared for the mosquito bites. I understand the castle is surrounded with forests but we a lot of mosquitoes in the room and we complained about that because we didn't sleep all night
But overall I don't regret staying there it's a must visit!

The environment was incredible. Takes you back to ancient times. However it is not updated as to preserve its antiquity so don’t expect modern working amenities. It’s a timeless experience to step back in time and relish the days of old
