“This is a very well furnished and maintained apartment and very convenient for seeing Lincoln: 5 minutes to main shopping area, 15 minutes up hill to Cathedral and castle. There are a number of good, cheap eateries 3 minutes away around Brayford Pool. Parking 5 minutes away at Brayford Wharf North (£12.50 for 24 hours, NPCC) or 7 minutes at Lucy Tower Street (£10 for 24 hours). “We did not receive the check-in details via e-mail so could not check in and ultimately not stay overnight. The phone number that was with the booking was supposed to be a helpdesk with the operator being anything but helpful. We had a look for help at the property but could not find anyone on two separate occasions; we were also astounded to discover that the accommodation was in the middle of a wedding venue and NOT the wedding we were attending. “The flat is beautiful and in a perfect location. However being on the ground floor anyone walking along the river can see in. Would suggest that the glass is mirrored for privacy. Whilst the furnishings are tasteful, the mattresses were abysmal, and lumpy. There were too few towels, and those provided were tiny and thin. There was zero spare toilet rolls. It is operated strictly as a business. If I’d wanted corporate I’d have booked a hotel. Comms were polite to the point of cold and……
