"From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome by Francesca. The apartment was spotless and tastefully furnished, with everything we needed. The outside area was beautiful with amazing views. I have never been anywhere so peaceful and relaxing with such great hospitality. Breakfast was amazing, with home made cake, juice and jam, plus fresh fruit and yogurt. All delicious. Our air conditioning stopped working, and was repaired within hours. "Posto molto bello, ma andrebbe rinnovato. Soprattutto il costo del soggiorno è troppo elevato per i servizi offerti. Basti considerare che nonostante la tariffa della camera sia molto alta, si paga l’accesso alla piscina. Inoltre manca internet e la pulizia dell’abitazione è ogni 4 giorni. Infine assurdi i prezzi del bar: 16 euro per un pane cunzato minuscolo. In conclusione posto dalle grandi potenzialità. Serve una gestione più attenta. "

"Our family decided to get together and after many years have a family holiday. This meant a wide age group from granny to grandchildren each with different holiday expectations. We had a wonderful time in Villa la Bruni The layout is very spacious, well laid out and very comfortable which allows each person to relax if they particularly want to rest. "Ottimo soggiorno! Casa vicinissima al centro, in un quarto d’ora si raggiunge la città. Spaziose camere, cucina abitabile e un terrazzo favoloso dove passare le serate (unica pecca solo un bagno su due con doccia). Proprietaria molto disponibile e sempre gentile. Consiglio vivamente"

"Really nice views of the ocean/harbor, extraordinary. helpful staff. I did find a bus from the beach that dropped us near the hotel but it didnt go to the ferry stop "

"The place is well located, just minutes from the ferry port. It was easy to find and the hotel had sent great communications before. Reception was good and the check-in quick and helpful with useful info about the islands. Room was big and spacious. It’s an apart hotel so we had a small kitchen area as well as a separate bedroom. Shower room was a bit dated and the shower was a bit small for comfort. Breakfast was fine - reasonable choice of continental breakfast.lipari was beautiful - so glad we stayed. One huge bonus of this hotel was the lovely pool area. Only 6 or 8 sunbeds but the pool and the space was great. A fab choice I think "

Orsa Maggiore Hotel

"Staff were unfriendly and used one of the seating areas as a smoking area although my kids were sat there. I discovered this later and was very cross about this as they just smoked over my kids. Shower was very loud and faulty. The driver was fantastic who picked us up from the port and extremely kind. The pool area is very nice which was the best bit. Staff seemed to see holiday makers as an inconvenience. The photos of the hotel on the website were very flattering so I had much higher expectatations for my stay. Breakfast was pretty good. Main waiter very grumpy. Female waitress very kind.There were no snacks available during the day and mealtimes were very rigid and limited. There seemed to be an outdoor bar which was not in use. With a bit more effort and modernisation this could be a really good hotel as it had great grounds and in a quiet part of the resort but about 20 mins walk to all the bars, restaurants Vulcano is a cute place. Quiet resort with a few nice bars and restaurants and opportunity to visit the other islands. Knowing what I know now I would stay in Panarea or lipari over staying here"
