We booked b&b but with checking at 5 and checkout at 10am we had no alternative but to but 2 day passes for the spa at a cost of 140 onto of 246 for the b&b . The weather was great which meant the outside facilities came into play. The restaurant food was average I had the ragu tagliatelle which would have benefited from salt and pepper. My partner had steak with a peppercorn sauce which again had no flavour and finally deconstructed cheesecake with burnt honeycombe with was awful

I booked an overnight stay via Expedia as I already had a morning spa visit arranged and didn’t want to drive to Liphook for the 8 am start in the morning. It made the whole experience much more relaxing for me. I had a lovely room with a king size bed which was good value for money as it included the buffet breakfast. Spa access is included from check in at 5 until check out at 10 am which was perfect for me as I already had a morning package too. I chose not to pay extra for dinner at the resort. I thought it was great value for money as I booked the day before.

The meal we had for dinner the sea bass with spring onions and supposedly with cauliflower purée was terrible. The skin on the fish was not crisp, the onions were Pretty raw and there was no cauliflower purée and it was very very greasy - would not recommend it. The hot water for breakfast to make tea was lukewarm.

The indoor and outdoor swimming pools were great, as well as the jacuzzi. The steam rooms and saunas were just like regular warm rooms but not hot enough I’m afraid, they were also too small and a bit of a let down so didn’t use them. The beds at the hotel rooms were squeaky, you can find much better quality bed at a Premier inn or Travelodge. For such an expensive place you also had poor wiring hanging from the TV and it didn’t feel as “premium” for the price you’re paying.

Location was nice , the areas were a bit tired…unfortunately the spa area was a bit disappointing as the sauna kept breaking down, it needed more attention from the staff in spa and pool area… the standard room I had was clean but again need attention in maintenance the windows were dirty and broken not a very nice to see …the property needs painting..,, and they definitely need to step up with the cleaning in pool and spa areas… I enjoyed my stay ..,, but won’t be rushing back .

Late check in at 5pm means you don't have any time there. You could hear the water in the pipes so the room was noisy. No A/C so the room was hot. The hotel needs a serious revamp. Terrible value for money.

Absolutely serene and wonderfully zen surroundings. Staff was almost never helpful - or even attempting to be; incredible behaviour. Wish I could give a better review but they were really set on being obnoxiously unhelpful bordering on rude. To work a customer facing role and being this unprofessional almost blew my mind.

We weren’t allowed in until 5pm the coffee shop had workman in the room next door. Spa facilities weren’t all working. Everyone was complaining in the restaurant for the evening. Next day we were told we could only use the spa @£70 per person for the morning so no morning swim. Hotel needs updating. Really disappointed.
