When we checked in, there was a pair of underwear from the previous guest on the towel warmer underneath the towels. There was empty bottles of shampoo and body wash in the dispensers in the shower. There was visible filth in the corners of the bathroom floor. There was also a massive cobweb in the corner of the room just by the table and chairs.

The hotel is a beautiful and is an interesting building with a lovely golf course and grounds. Amazing ball room for big functions. The bedrooms are very hot with no air conditioning. The food in the Sports Bar was rather bland and dry. Breakfast was of average quality.

Country Retreat

Very good Hotel. Check in was excellent, the lady on the desk extremely helpful. Beautiful champagne bar and everywhere was in good condition. The room was spacious, the bed enormous and the shower and bath brand new. Staff in the bar and elsewhere were excellent.

Beautiful hotel! Stayed for a wedding at this hotel, it was fantastic. The hotel is lovely, rooms are perfect. They were able to let us have a room early when we arrived, couldn’t be more helpful!
