The location is great and I was really happy with my stay up until day 4 where I was rudely awakened to the hostels receptionist banging a guest in the bunk across from mine; there’s a time and place for everything - I found that situation to be a extremely disrespectful to me (a guest) Other than that I liked the location and amenities.

My first time at a hostel. Cool vibe. Clean. Nice staff. Safe. Only issue was the refrigerator situation. Not enough space for serious 3-4 meal eaters a day. I am sure once they replace of fix a bad unit(that had a freezer also) that situation will result in plenty of cold food storage.

Aunque la casa es muy grande y bonita, está muy dejada y sucia. La ropa de cama era antigua y desgastada. El colchón muy incómodo. Los cuartos de baños muy sucios. Lo mejor del sitio la localización junto a la playa, el aparcamiento fácil en la calle y la piscina con un jardín bien cuidado. A pesar de esto, no volvería por la dejadez y suciedad del sitio.

Otroligt välbemött. Bra service och personen som tog emot som var en kille var riktigt service sinnad, såg till så att man kände sig hemma och visade runt. Golven i badrummen var skitiga då gäster trampar in med skor bara, så se till att ha tofflor. Annars var allt hemmtrevligt.

You have to go there !

nous avons passé une semaine fort agréable dans cette auberge de jeunesse à proximité de Lisbonne, Cascais, Sintra ou de nombreuses visites culturelles sont possible, ainsi qu'une vie nocturne très active. L'auberge de jeunesse et sont staff sont fort accueillant et propose de nombreuses opportunités, cours de surf, barbecue, sortie en boite de nuit, pool party.

i planned to stay at carcavelos for 1 night and ended up staying 4! the staff are friendly and go out of their way to help you. the vibe is warm and chilled and is the perfect place to relax and even experience the traditional Portuguese culture. You also get to learn about other cultures as you meet people who are from all over the world!its fun, chilled, everyone is a legend, you will fall in love with Chiko annd its right near the beach- what more could you ask for? Even if the surf isnt on, its only a short walk to the train station which will take you to the next surf spot yeeew! Give it a try you defs wont be dissapointed :)
