The experience was great. All the staff did a great job. Special mention to the Manger Ruth, who was absolutely fantastic. She went above and beyond to ensure our stay was a memorable one. Nothing was too much trouble for her. She has been the best hostess we have ever encountered on our travels. The owners of this hotel should be very grateful to have someone like Ruth managing it. We will recommend this hotel to all our family and friends and we can’t wait to come back again . Thank you all especially Ruth. You’re the best

A lovely oasis in the middle of an enchanting istorical city. The staff were as friendly and helpful as could be wished. If we had to find fault, it would be that the clenliness is not prestine.

A lovely hotel with a small garden area and plunge pool, a little oasis in the middle of Lisbon. Loved our panoramic terrace room, with views over the rooftops to the castle. Very friendly and helpful staff, including Diogo, Ruth and Uran. Lovely breakfasts, including eggs cooked to order. Great restaurant recommendations from the staff especially Ruth. 😊

Casa Balthazar was an absolutely stunning property. We upgraded to the jacuzzi suite, and it was worth every penny- the view is spectacular. The room is comfortable, well maintained and a perfect size. Breakfast in the morning with fresh fruit, pastries, juice and coffee made just how you like it. Small hotel so very quiet, well maintained with a ton of unique spaces- spa/gym, pool area, sitting areas, not to mention the wonderful staff. It is uphill from Rossio square, but only takes 2 minutes to walk- super convenient location with easy access to everything you want to see in Lisbon. Loved it and will look forward to coming back.

Les employés sont exceptionnels! Le petit déjeuner était très bon, la piscine chauffée était très agréable après une journée chaude à Lisbonne et le lit était vraiment confortable. Situé près de tout ce que l’on veut visiter à Lisbonne! Je recommande fortement!

Casa Balthazar exceeded expectations! Rooms are large and beds are very comfortable. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The building is a historical house and each room is unique. The property is associated with an old bakery and the breakfast is excellent. Would absolutely stay here again!!!

The location is perfect to provide an oasis in the middle of everything you want to do in the city. Site seeing, shopping, dining…. All in easy reach. The staff is so accommodating and respectful. The breakfast is awesome with fresh fruit and anything you could want to start your day off right!!!! Excellent, I want to return!!!

A hidden gem boutique hotel in the middle of the Barrio Alto neighborhood. A calm, soothing, quiet spot in the center of a bustling area. Beautiful "home" was turned into an amazing hotel. The staff made us feel special. Can't recommend it enough. We will be back.

The property was a converted bakery and family residence. Each of the rooms were uniquely designed and decorated. The staff was excellent and the location was close to downtown shops, restaurants and sites.

Best location, great facilities, Wonderful hosts, located close to wonderful restaurants. We ere in the room called DUPLEX. First floor TV, Kitchenette, living area. Second floor bedroom and bathroom (King Sized bed) Third floor outside deck, ideal for sitting and looking down at the city/ Also a great spar one could book for an hour in privacy. Also met some new friends. The perfect place to stay providing you do not mind a lot of steps both in the unit and in the surrounding area.
