A block away from the castle on a relatively quiet street. The amazing location was definitely the highlight of this apartment. Easy check-in process, made our stay in Lisbon very enjoyable. A few doorknobs were missing, but that certainly didn’t cause any problems.

Couldn’t want for a better location. Authentic, characterful, multi-roomed apartment in the heart of the Alfama. Only thing to note which isn’t clear on the listing is that while there are 4 bedrooms, only 3 have independent access. The 4th is a single room only accessible via one of the other double bedrooms- so that wouldn’t work for groups of adults sharing. But a lovely, well-located, v clean apartment. We had a great time.

The unit was exactly as promised with all amidites. The issue was the construction that started at 8am the first morning of our stay when we were hoping to sleep in. The construction stopped at a reasonable time in the evening but then the person upstairs decided to get their 10,000 steps in for the day with shoes on and did not stop until just after midnight. The second day was heavy stone work construction all day but we went out in the afternoon. The night was quiet thank goodness as we had an early flight back to Canada in the AM.

Love the location. Good layout for 4 to 6 people. Lots of dishes. Hot water on demand is nice. Only a couple things to note. If you run the space heaters on high, it will trip the main breaker for the entire unit. The reset switch is in the panel behind the big clock on the living room wall. Press the orange button for at least 3 seconds and you'll be good to go. Even though we rented this on vrbo, the whole process is moved to a third-party website so that was kind of annoying. But worked fine

I want to start off by saying that the property itself was very beautiful and in a great location. That being said, upon coming in after an entire night spent at the hospital, I initially didn’t care to notice that the beds were unmade, and that the trash in all areas were not picked up. I was recovering from a head injury, so I wasn’t as acutely aware as my friends about the condition of the place until I finally got up a few days later to check out the apartment. That’s when I realized that this place was probably not cleaned prior to our arrival. There were also some floor stains in the kitchen. I got the overall impression that nothing was cleaned from the previous occupants. I messaged the host about this and he did respond promptly and got the place cleaned. I just lament that this all happened on our last day of our stay, so we were potentially sleeping in prior used bed sheets for a few nights. My only hope is that there is quality control next time and they verify that the place is cleaned after the checkout of every guest.

The place was good - clean and comfortable. The location was fantastic. Do NOT bring a car. You cannot access this place unless you are in a taxi. This was not told to us beforehand. The company takes hours to respond. I was also treated very rudely by their staff when I was asking about car access. She asked if I wanted to cancel (three times!) instead of helping me. We ended up dragging our four large pieces of luggage up a hill on cobblestone streets. They finally responded to my question about parking about 18 hours later. Really poor communication. Made the whole process unpleasant and frustrating. The second bathroom should only be listed as a half bath. The shower is TINY and really not usable unless you are a small child. Overall, not the best experience and I would look elsewhere in the neighborhood if you are driving or need two functional bathrooms.

Wir waren 5 Arbeitskollegen und Freunde. Das Apartment ist sehr groß und auch bei heißen Temperaturen kühl. Die Lage ist perfekt. Es gibt allerdings einige Sachen die erneuert werden könnten. Eine Türklinke ist locker und fällt runter wenn man die Tür schließen möchte und eine Handtuch Halterung im Bad ist ebenfalls locker. Im Kleinen Badezimmer war es auch sehr schwer zu duschen da sonst das ganze Bad unter Wasser stand. Trotz dessen, würden wir jederzeit wieder kommen. Auch die Kommunikation mit der Agentur war sehr freundlich und schnell.

Apartment is in a great location for tourist who don't mind walking around as the fort is very close and going down town is literally down the hill.
