This hotel is quite charming. This quiet and comfortable palace affords visitors the chance to unwind in a clean and relaxing atmophere, with beautiful views of the Tagus river and April 25 bridge. The staff were courteous, very helpful, attentive and friendly.
Guests also have the chance to visit the art gallery complementary to their stay. The MACAM is just a few minutes walk from many restaurants, the marina as well as a short drive to sites such as the Belem Tower. I would certainly chose the MACAM for my next stay in Lisbon.

A wonderful experience in Belém. Close enough to everything while still a world away. Want to stay someplace unique with great food and service and not like you big signature chain boutique hotels? This is your place. The hotel, museum, artwork, bar, library and roof top pool, and workout room will help you enjoy your stay. We saw the owner several times during our stay. We also managed to catch a wonderful musical act at the venue. Intimate, interesting, and unique.

The most spectacular part of my stay were the galleries and attention to detail the hotel paid in the quality of the sheets, towels, robes and water was free. These special touches made the experience over the top! The staff at the front desk very knowledgeable and helpful.
Breakfast staff was a bit overwhelmed with the number of people for breakfast and the hotel was not even full. It was tough to get service at the pool as well. But the pool amenity was excellent!
I have already recommended this hotel to friends traveling to Lisbon in October.
Location is unique and a bit out of the center but so worth it!

Newer beautiful hotel that is spacious, with art installations around every corner, generous amenities, and wonderful breakfast with buffet and ready-made hot options. Staff solicitous and friendly and location so convenient to the conference centre, but also easy walk to the river and nearby monuments. Lovely library and common spaces including the honour bar, just wish I had more time at the hotel to explore the complimentary adjacent galleries and courtyard! Something to look forward to for next time..
