This third-floor designer studio is a tranquil oasis perched on Castle Hill in Lisbon’s oldest neighborhood, Alfama. Housed in a fully renovated 100-year-old building, the studio was updated in 2021 to seamlessly blend modern elegance with historic character. With sweeping views over Baixa-Chiado and the Tagus River, this space offers a peaceful yet connected retreat in the heart of the city.
Inside, the studio is thoughtfully designed with neutral tones, warm wood finishes, and golden accents that evoke the feel of a boutique hotel. A queen-sized bed with plush linens, layered pillows, and extra blankets upon request ensures restful nights. The large Juliette-style balcony windows flood the space with natural light and frame iconic views of Lisbon’s rooftops and the shimmering river below.
The compact kitchenette is equipped with a Nespresso machine, an under-counter fridge, sink, electric stovetop, kettle, dishwasher, and basic cookware—ideal for light cooking or enjoying breakfast at home. A foldable wall-mounted table with two chairs offers a flexible space for dining or remote work, supported by fast Wi-Fi, and a Smart TV.
The modern bathroom features a minimalist sink, a round mirror, and a rainfall shower (note: the compact layout may lead to light water spillage). Basic toiletries and a hairdryer are included for your convenience. With contemporary lighting and curated decor throughout, this studio is perfectly tailored for short city escapes or digital nomads seeking calm and inspiration in the heart of Lisbon.
Our studios are located in the most ancient quarter of the city: the famous Alfama! Specifically, in Largo da Achada, a tiny cobble-stoned square with a small drinking fountain in the Castle's Hill. The building facing the studio is one of Lisbon’s oldest houses built in the 1500s!
In this picturesque neighborhood composed of a maze of narrow streets, winding alleyways, and steep flights of steps you'll find most Fado houses, tiny squares, churches, and amazing lookout points. The 11th century Moorish Castle and Miradouro da Graça terrace are the best!

» Late Night Check-In: for arrivals between 21:00 (9 PM) and 9:00 (9 AM) a late check-in fee of €25 will apply. This amount must be paid in cash at the time of check-in.
» If guests lock themselves out of the property or do not return the keys to the lockbox at checkout, a 50 euros fee will apply. If a guest loses a set of keys during their stay, an 80 euros fee will apply. In case our team is unable to unlock the door and there is the need for specialized assistance, additional fees will apply.

» A €100 security deposit is required to book this property. The deposit will be refunded in full via credit card, subject to an inspection of the property, within 7 days of check-out.
