The Villa Bella Vista was wonderful! The room was spacious and spotless. There were very few other guests so we had the terrace all to ourselves. The view could not be better; a perfect place to watch the sunset and listen to the busker playing in front of the palace.

Our stay at Villa Bela Vista was one of the absolute highlights of our trip to Portugal. From the moment we arrived, Eva and her sister Melicia went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for. Their hospitality was unbelievable — truly some of the best service we've ever experienced. One very helpful tip: the villa reserves two parking spots just up the street (look for cones on the left-hand side as you're driving in). If you miss the parking, you'll end up driving all the way up the mountain and having to loop back down — so keep an eye out! When we had trouble, Eva literally stood in the spot to help us park. She was not only helpful but incredibly friendly and gracious. The rooms are beautiful, with elegant touches and very comfortable beds. We were lucky enough to have a room with a gorgeous view of the Royal Palace — it felt like something out of a dream. Breakfast each morning was absolutely delicious: a lovely fruit tray, scrambled eggs, fresh bread, and yogurt with toppings. Everything was beautifully presented and prepared with care. If you're planning a trip to Sintra, do not miss the chance to stay here. Villa Bela Vista was easily one of our favorite experiences in Portugal, and we would return in a heartbeat. Thank you, Eva and Melicia, for everything!

Centrally located, walk to everything! 2 parking spaces, first come, first get. Staff was amazing! Breakfast was personally prepared and super fresh. 100% renovated but keeping charm of village. Comfy bed, amazing bathroom and shower, A/C worked perfectly. Highly recommend.

We had an excellent stay. The hotel has gorgeous views over the city. Our room had a huge balcony! The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious.

A super new and super clean property (in fact it felt just a little sterile, it was so new and clean, but that’s ok). We had a lovely view over the old town, and parking was quite convenient (and free!). Breakfast was very nice. I would highly recommend for the convenience if you want to say in Sintra and avoid making a day trip to see the town.

A propriedade é linda, o cuidado com os detalhes é impressionante. O hóspede fica completamente à vontade, quase como se estivesse na própria casa. A Diretoria, bem como os funcionários são extremamente dedicado. O Café da manhã (pequeno almoço) é muito elaborado.

Perfection!

We absolutely loved staying at Villa Bela Vista and highly recommend it. Gorgeous property and elegant yet comfortable, spacious room with doors to a large terrace with sweeping views for miles and miles. The lovely breakfast was a pleasant surprise with personal service. The only disappointment is there was no easy way to do laundry, and as we were on an extended trip, even a pricy pick-up/delivery service would have been helpful. That's my only recommendation. Otherwise, everything was perfection.

Best! We were here when the power went out all over Europe- owner made sure we had candles, jugs of water to flush toilets, bottles of water to drink. Amazing place, wonderful breakfast- people go above and beyond!!

Nicest place I've ever stayed at that price

The hotel itself is beautiful. The rooms were surprisingly modern and comfortable, without being minimal. The bathroom was large and gorgeous and had a heated marble floor. And the staff was so friendly and helpful and accommodating. Plus a beautiful breakfast service, despite there being fewer than ten rooms total. Altogether, the nicest stay I've ever had in Europe for under $200 euros per night! (Stayed in April, so maybe shoulder-season cheaper rates?)

Beautiful stay in Sintra

Villa Bela Vista was amazing and probably our favorite hotel on our Portugal trip. The room was exactly as advertised. We felt comfortable and enjoyed our time here. The view, service, and amenities were all great. We loved being able to just have breakfast here in the morning and thought it was a good spread each day with slight changes every day. They were also able to help hold our luggage for a few hours after we checked out so we could continue roaming Sintra. Overall, wonderful and would highly recommend.
