“We spent a quiet 4 days using the rental as a base for walks in the area and region. The kitchen had everything you need in terms of basics, and the lounge was comfortable with a charming wood burning stove. The bed was very comfortable. Would definitely go back.”

“Lovely house with lots of room and lots of equipment, crockery etc. comfy beds . Outside seating but never used as weather was somewhat wet and windy, but had a couple of sunny spells to make use of hot tub. Jane was very communicative and an ideal host. Thoroughly recommend,”

“Stayed as a group of 13 lads for my brother's stag party (a much more chilled out affair than it sounds) the house was perfect with plenty of space for socialising, cooking and games. Were hoping to make our "Lads Holiday" an annual event and would definitely stay again! ”

“This was ideal for me. I loved it here. It was really peaceful. I couldn't hear a thing apart from the birds and the occasional sheep. I stayed for 4 days and I wished it could have been longer. There is no TV in the hut which also suits me to the ground. The wi-fi is excellent so if you do want to watch something on an I pad or tablet you will have no problem with the reception. There was a nice touch with tea making facilities and scones provided for the 4 days that I was there. I cannot……

“Grandma's cottage is as cute as the pictures suggest. Very quaint, full of character in a quiet village. We enjoyed the relaxing outdoor space, and made use of the bbq a couple of times. Some lovely local walks and local attractions. Our hosts were very friendly and quick to help us when we locked ourselves out!! Thoroughly recommend!! ”
