“Expedia gives this hotel 3 stars, however the sign outside and other sites give it 2 stars. I would say it’s closer to 2 stars based on the room we stayed in and our overall stay. The decor was dated, the tv didn’t work, the mattress was hard and pillows flat making for an uncomfortable nights sleep. “Lovely peaceful short stay away from shower works at my house. Gorgeous room, yummy breakfast, car parking for guests, pretty gardens and smiles from the great team there. Nice remote ish location, not far from train station/local shops.”

“This hotel is steeped in history- it is well located in Arundel but it is tired - had a annex room - immediately we walked into the corridor it smelled musty - the art work and the carpets old and tired. Room - clean - not luxurious- functional- furniture old - beds clean and comfortable. There were notices to tell you that should you spill anything on the carpet then expect a £100 fine . Bathroom basic - shower worked ok - black mould around basin taps and basin was stained. Convenient……

“Everything was perfect except for the lack of air conditioning. The weather was unusually hot and although an electric fan was provided, it didn’t do the trick as well as an air conditioner could.”

“Great location. Inflexible menu on the day so had to eat elsewhere no accommodation La were made for us. Clean room But many hairs in the bedding inbetween mattress protector or bottom sheet. Attention to detail would be worthwhile and signs on other guests doors to ask them to be mind full not letting doors slam in the morning would be helpful.”
