Although the location is lovely I Messaged the owner a day before our stay to ask about the check in process. He then informed me not even 24 hours before our stay that the pool would not be open. I explained how this is the only reason we booked but he was extremely unsympathetic. The owner knew about the pool not working a week before but decided not to tell us so we would no longer be eligible for a 50% refund. There was no form of compensation. Furthermore, check out was at 10am and the owners daughter came and started filtering the pool at 9:30 which made us extremely uncomfortable. Purely for those reasons, I wouldn’t book again.

We had an amazing stay. The cottage was so lovely, loved the swimming pool and hot tub, there was a friendly pub a short distance away. Great location We will definitely be going back
