We chose this hotel for closeness to the docks for the isle of man ferry. Good facilities, excellent staff and very good value for money and quality food. We booked it again on our return to Liverpool a week later. We will stay here again whenever we are visiting family on the island.

As with other reviews the bathrooms are tiny along the lines of one on a cruise/ferry if you’ve been on one, but easily manageable. The rest of the hotel is excellent in every way clean, amazing staff, great location to enjoy a drink right on the Mersey, didn’t see any other hotels offering that whilst there? Would definitely stay again!

The staff were so friendly and helpful, really the best part of the stay. Quiet, convenient location. Room was small but had storage space under the beds so that helped. No toiletries so had to use our own - they might have had it upon request but having to ask for shampoo, conditioner and body wash was not expected. Would stay again.
