We had a lovely family holiday staying at this property.

We had a lovely family holiday staying at this property. The house was in a great location and ideal for the children as the playground is directly opposite. The living room was cosy and we enjoyed the warm fire in there. The kitchen was well equipped, plenty of cups, plates etc. Unfortunately there were no cushions on the couch or kitchen chairs for hygiene purposes, however I think this would have added to the comfort of our stay. My mum is disabled and the downstairs bedroom was ideal. The downstairs shower facilities are separate to the bedroom though and there is a step to get into the shower so she could not use this. Overall we had a great stay and would book again!

Perfectly located and very good value

Many things to like about this property. Very good value for money, yes we have stayed in more 'upmarket' places but at 'upmarket' prices. The location is perfect being right on the promenade with the park opposite and Lord Street just a two minutes walk away. It was a lovely touch to have a few essentials provided for our arrival, milk, bread etc. The place was spotless although there were one or two signs of wear and tear but only noticeable to the keen eyed. The toaster needs upgrading, there was no corkscrew (there is now) and the driveway is a bit neat. It fitted our two cars but any more would be a struggle. Some lovely decorative touches inside and all the rooms were big. The beds were comfortable. If coming to Southport again we would probably stay here again and I think that says it all.

What a beautiful house to spend our family Christmas together. There was 4 generations and what a wonderful time we had. The house was beautifully decorated for Christmas for us and I would recommend this home from home to anybody thinking of doing the same thing to get families together for any reason. Than you so much for letting us rent your beautiful house, the Feery Family, O’Mara family and Thornton family.

The highest compliment I can give is that this felt like a home from home! Not easy to find for 12 people. Great location, we managed to squeeze 5 cars on the drive, just as well we could walk everywhere. The kitchen is really well equipped, we didn’t have to keep washing up to get a mug for a drink or a plate. We decided to all eat together one evening and the kitchen had everything you needed and we all sat around the table together. IMO these small details really matter. The house was extremely clean and comfortable and we would highly recommend. The welcome hamper is indeed very welcome, great to grab a cuppa and a biscuit after a long journey. Thanks our stay was a great success!

Fantastic property - great location close to pier and a few minutes from the shops, Splash world and other attractions. Property itself is amazing. Was very comfortable and spacious for our family group of 11 across 3 generations. Dinner table seats 12 and there was plenty of kitchen crockery & equipment provided. Very clean and tidy - would book to stay again if we return to Southport.

A truly excellent holiday cottage in a brilliant location. It’s perfect for large group gatherings and with the Kings Gardens across the road and Lord Street a 5 min walk away there is so much to do on the doorstep. The owners made us very welcome and were very responsive to our queries.

This house was ideal, very spacious and comfortable. It is a perfect location with all facilities just few minutes walk away. Ideal for families with lovely park opposite. A lovely gift awaited us with a food hamper which also contained two bottles of wine, a generous and most welcome surprise. I went with my girlfriends and would like to return with my family

This is our second visit as a family.

This is our second visit as a family. We love the house as a base close to shops, restaurants and activities but it is a lovely place to stay in even without all that. Most days the kids didn't want to go out at all they loved it so much. The new kitchen is lovely and all the rooms are spacious and homely. It is a home away from home, comfortable and warm. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
