We used the Kirkfield as a stopover on way to our holiday at Thoresby and couldn't fault it. The food was good and a well stocked bar and before we left we had a fantastic breakfast. As we left in the morning we both said that we will definitely be back and we will. Lovely and helpful staff ... well done.

The staff from Holly on reception and bar and restaurant through to the Taps bar and breakfast staff were all excellent and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. The place was in good condition and had attractive bar and restaurant areas, as well as rooms and waiting areas. You have to park across the road but it’s not expensive. I’d recommend the Taps bar on a Monday, if you are a cask ale drinker £3 per pint!
