“We really enjoyed our stay at Hare’s View. The accommodation is advertised as sleeping six, but during our visit (with only two of us) it didn’t feel fully equipped to comfortably cater for that number. A few things we noticed: - There was no dishwasher or washing machine. - No dining table, only four stools at the breakfast bar, and a rather uncomfortable wooden bench with thin cushions in the lounge. - No hanging space or drawers in the bedrooms for clothes, or in the communal areas for……

“We had a fantastic stay and really enjoyed our time at the kingfisher Shepherds hut. If your looking to stay please bare in mind that the hut is very small, there is very limited kitchen supplies, ie no oven, microwave or decent sized freezer. Unfortunately lots of flys got into our hut which we had to sleep with as we had no repellent and no nets were provided. It is a bit of a faff having to heat your own hot tub and sauna, building the fire and keeping it alight for atleast 2hrs is hard work……

“Lovely log cabin, very clean , excellent central heating with radiators in every room. Good sized fenced in garden for our dog to run around in. Veranda with table and chairs where you can sit back and watch countryside and wonderful sunsets. The cabin is up a steep gravel track so would not be suitable for cars with low ground clearance. The owner was very nice.”
