Fantastic cottage (very good value for money), large rooms, ample parking in a peaceful location but

Fantastic cottage (very good value for money), large rooms, ample parking in a peaceful location but minutes on foot from multiple takeaways, petrol station (with a well stocked Asda Express shop attached), corner shop and pub (the pub was closed during our stay but hopefully will get new landlords soon). The owners are lovely and extremely helpful if you need anything. The cottage has a good sized fridge and freezer, range cooker so cooking not an issue at all.We had a slight issue getting hold of them on the number to arrange arrival time etc, but they called me on our journey down to give the details (and they live on site worst case).Visiting Kidwelly Castle is a must if you stay here. Llanelli train station has a free carpark and you can pick up a direct train to cardiff from there if you want a big shopping trip.

What a fab cottage! Lovely hosts, the most welcoming we’ve ever met! The cottage was spotlessly clean, lovely and warm. The log burner is a lovely feature, as is the baby grand piano! Little touches like blankets in the lounge for a cosy evening, a good supply of logs for the stove and a lovely welcome pack of goodies as well as bread, milk butter and eggs when we arrived. The beds were super comfy, plenty of towels available and nice hot water. There is a shop for basics at the end of the lane, and several shops within 10 mins drive, chip shop and Chinese restaurant in the village too. We will definitely be back again!
