“Amazing trip at the Sleeping Giant Hotel which is attached to the Pen y cae inn.. We arrived and was greeted by Lee and Claire, they went above and beyond to get us into our room 3 hours before checkin time.. the hotel is clean, modern with no expense spared.. the pub which is attached to the hotel has a lovely restaurant, the food was great and good value for money.. we ended up extending our stay by a extra night as we enjoyed it here that much! If you want a great stay with a good pub next……

“Quirky cottage. Very quiet and peaceful as tucked away down a very long driveway with only sheep, pigs and horses as neighbours. ”

“We went for 2 nights stay in May. Check in and communication was very good. The property was clean. It looked like renovation work took place recently. It was a pleasant stay. Only downside is that there are no good places to eat. We arrived about 8:30 pm and all the nearby places were closed for customers. This is no reflection on the property as it was as advertised.”

“A few leaflets about the area would have been good. We found the library on the day it was closed which may have helped. Another toilet upstairs in the house would have been useful, but generally the house was very comfortable .was”

“Best location with a Beautiful View. Consistent communication with the owner. We fell in love with the place as we set foot on it. Everything you need is in the apartment and in the apartment is a folder contained places you can visit. Thank you for your lovely home, Michelle.”

“Really beautiful property with a great cosy feel to it. The fireplace was great at keeping the house warm and toasty. Kitchen is well stocked and the sound of the stream near by was lovely! The road going up to the property is a bit challenging so something to be mindful of with your vehicle. Very remote but a small village is a 15 minute drive away. The listing says there is a hot tub but they are just regular bath tubs - still great and relaxing! Just no jet element to them.”

“A very different experience, a shame it was November so the weather wasn't great, but still a great experience. Would definately recommend flip flops for the bus stop showers, as that floor was a tad painful. And a shame the shower with a view had suffered in the last freeze, would be great in summer. Will consider a revisit in warmer weather if we need a place to stay in the area in the future.”

“The owner was very accommodating and informative of the local area. The house was clean and well maintained on arrival. Overall the house is very homely with plenty of living space, the neighbours are quiet and there's plenty of parking close to the house. I enjoyed my stay, it was cosy and fitted the bill during a tough working placement at the local hospital. I'd recommend this place to any small family, couple or students who need a get away or need a home away from home. Again, I cannot……

“The location is wonderful and the cottage was exceptional - roomy and with everything you could want. Daniela and John are lovely hosts - there for a chat and to help if required but also left you yourself if that’s what you wanted. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay.”

“A lovely hotel, great room and comfortable bed. Decor a bit dated but all clean. Wonderful lounge and bar area. Friendly happy staff. There were some issues with the lift but as were on the first floor we could manage the stairs. A very relaxing break. Thank you.”
