「The family room was good and comfortable with such reasonable price. it was feeling free to stay here as most of the thing were self served, such as breskfast and using the kitchen to cook! The city was beautiful and we enjoy stay here very much.」

「Room was dated but clean and had everything we needed for one night. On arrival there was no one at reception and we had to wait quite a while to check in, in spite of staff walking past us waiting. We wanted to get dinner at the hotel but the staff closed the restaurant 30min early and wouldn't serve us. Again we waited at the bar while three members of staff chatted and ignored us. Would not recommend the service here.」

「Absolutely loved this property. It easily accommodated 6 adults. Extremely clean, tidy and well equipped. The location was fantastic and so easy to walk into the town. We even managed to park our cars right outside the house. Would highly recommend!」

「We had a lovely stay. Our room was perfect for us….lovely comfy bed and a small courtyard where we had dinner delivered! We were lucky that the weather was very warm too. 「Cooks Flat is a great find in Wrexham! Tranquil, peaceful and beautiful walks on the property. What a treat to stay on a private estate and visit the Victorian kitchen and games room. I appreciated the welcome gifts and hospitality from the hosts too. Would definitely stay again next time I’m in the area.」

「No running water in the leisure building between 2.30pm and 4.30pm which we didnt know until we were already in pool so no showers etc. Kids in the adult only/spa guests only area playing in the jacuzzi/spa pool, roudy group in the relaxation room, reception apologised but didnt seem bothered. Significant mould in the cafe/reception area. Hoses laying untaped on the footpath. Rooms showing lots of signs of age and desperately in need of TLC (shower grout, peeling paint and wallpaper, frayed...
