“Absolutely loved our quick little get away. Lovely remote area and amazing for stars at night. The cottage was a good size even with a toddler running about. The welcome basket was a saving grace and loved the bara brith (ordered more to take home as gifts too). We went into Llandeilo which had not many but lovely shops and on one of our days drove for about an hour to get to folly Farm. It was nice and relaxed and the hot tub was so comfy. “We stayed a full week in pretty relentless rain yet came away thoroughly impressed by the accommodation and the welcome received from the hosts. The photos almost do not do the property justice, you really need to stay to properly appreciate it all. Lovely history to it, everything you need for your stay. Top quality heating system and faultless WiFi. Nice location, easy walk to the pub and a reasonably short drive to the shops. Our dogs had bowls towels etc provided. Lovely welcome hamper……

“We had a fabulous stay here. The hosts were excellent, providing all the information we needed and even catered for our baby.The cottage itself was immaculate. So much room and beautifully presented. You can't put a price on the view- especially from the hot tub! We had 1 meal at the Angel Inn- proper local pub full of really friendly locals! The only thing to bear in mind is the lack of a village shop nearby- probably a good 25 mins to the nearest supermarket etc.”

"The view is absolutely beautiful. The overall hygiene was ok, with a small bit of stain on the sheet remaining. However, there was one used instant coffee packaging left, probably due to carelessness of cleaning staff. The worst issue was that the shower was completely not working but the hotel gave us this room knowing that there was a electrical failure for the shower. Although the staff was really polite when we raised this issue in the morning, it does not erase the disappointment at night. The toilet also did not work properly, the flush was extremely weak. There was no way of contacting the hotel at night to sort out the shower issue and the reception runs from 3pm to 6pm instead of 8pm as stated here. Would recommend if those management issues were fixed."
