"The cabin is in a small, secluded neighborhood. We took our two dogs with us and it was perfect for walking them. The lake is within short walking distance (basically just across the street), with several kayaks and a paddle-board, life jackets, also a nice spot for fishing. The lake is beautiful. Judy has a swing, picnic table, and several chairs down by the water.The cabin itself is cozy, beautifully decorated. Judy has thought of everything to make the cabin comfortable. Fans clipped on to the bottom bunks, an automatic light on the toilet which is convenient at night. Fully stocked kitchen. What isn’t inside the cabin, is in the outside kitchen. The dormer room/pool table area was so much fun. We took turns playing pool and the kids would lay on their bunks and watch. It was like a camp/lodge vibe. The property itself is beautifully maintained. The hot tub, the plants, the porches. We did not use the pool due to the weather but it looked great!And last, but not least, Judy is an amazing host! You can tell she loves meeting and hosting people. She met my husband and son at the property (they arrived first), drove them around in a golf cart to show them the layout. She was communicative, and checked in with us, but after the initial meeting we really didn’t see her again. One of the nights we were there, it was supposed to get cold, so she left us Keurig hot chocolates with little Hershey kisses on top of each one on the front porch! She is amazing!"
