“The property was excellent, 3 good size bedrooms for a change. Although very isolated, up a very narrow track but it was worth it. I would come back again for the week with the dogs to just chill out and enjoy the peace and quiet, and the bleating sheep.”

Veranda with table and chairs where you can sit back and watch countryside and wonderful sunsets. The cabin is up a steep gravel track so would not be suitable for cars with low ground clearance. The owner was very nice.”

“We recently stayed here and overall found it to be a lovely place in a beautiful location. The setting is very peaceful and relaxing, and the pod itself has a lot of potential for a family getaway. Unfortunately, during our stay there were works being carried out on site which affected the peaceful atmosphere during the daytime. There were cars and vans passing by all the time, and some dust from the works reached our pod. It would have been appreciated if we were informed about this in advance……

“We had a fantastic stay and really enjoyed our time at the kingfisher Shepherds hut. If your looking to stay please bare in mind that the hut is very small, there is very limited kitchen supplies, ie no oven, microwave or decent sized freezer. Unfortunately lots of flys got into our hut which we had to sleep with as we had no repellent and no nets were provided. It is a bit of a faff having to heat your own hot tub and sauna, building the fire and keeping it alight for atleast 2hrs is hard work……

“We had a great short break at The Cottage. It has everything you could need, kitchen very well equipped, comfortable bed and thoughtful touches such as the automatic nightlights. The location is very peaceful. We were very lucky on our arrival day that the weather was amazing and we had a lovely time sitting in the pretty, tranquil garden watching birds and butterflies and then listening to an owl once it went dark. Definitely coming back!”

“This has been our second stay at this location, although this time we stayed at Highland view. the reason we came back is because of the large fenced garden area with wire mesh so the dog can be let loose without a worry. Bed was very comfy with clever storage underneath, hot tub was perfect, and the caravan seems new and well kept. Excellent views as well and we will definitely come again! A couple of suggestions that can improve the visitor experience: The smoke alarm went off too easily, we……
