「This is an excellent place just outside the hustle of the center of Ubud. Located in a beautiful location with a view on the ricefields and a beautiful pool. A soft bed, airconditioning and the nicest staff. A concert of frogs is a free gift. So you gotta embrace that or bring earplugs. ;) but I slept like a baby after a restorative yoga class by Lawrence at the yogabarn. The family here even welcomed me into traditional ceremony. 「Had a room opposite the restaurant and lounge so it was noisy from guests talking at night and in the morning. Once till 3:30am. Room had a musty smell from the bathroom. Taxi drivers sometimes could not find the right route to drive Bach to the hotel door and we had to walk through dark alleyways in a residential area. Restaurant food was good in the evenings, we ate there twice. Buffet breakfast was ok, but the Ala carte breakfast on the last day during low occupancy was very good.」

「Our expectations were quite high after reading the other reviews. Although the villa wasn’t as clean or as luxurious as we had expected, it still offered good value for money. The location was convenient, with several good restaurants nearby (please go to Wedja restaurant, it’s amazing!), and communication with the host was always easy and responsive.
