We stayed in Room #10 which had a Texas Cowboy theme. It was very nicely decorated and the beds were super comfortable. The building is a bit older so the bathroom is not updated but was very clean. The room has a microwave and mini fridge. It’s very reasonably priced and dogs stay for free. The staff was very friendly and accomodating, wanting to give us Cabin#12 which is priced higher than the room we booked. We will definitely stay there again, next time in Cabin#12.

This is the sweetest little place. Its located a few miles from Lake Ute. I booked this place based on the reviews. I can understand the reasons for their excellent ones. It appears as a roadside motel but its far more than a typical one. The care, patience, money and effort to make this the cutest place I've ever been is extraordinary. The rooms are truly themed. We had the oil rig room. As soon as we walked in I was so pleased by all the many amenities and there are many. First, the room was immaculate. It had an abundance of shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion in an obvious higher end offering than most motels. It had a microwave, refrigerator, roomy closet, and a cute little table and two chairs. The mattress was the best part! It was so comfortable with big, fluffy and comfy pillows. That's a serious step up for this little establishment. It was the thoughtful touches everywhere than impressed me the most. My only advice for this place is that more effort should be made on the outside. From the road it gave me pause as to whether or not to stay because the grass was high and weeds were everywhere. I know its not a fair assessment of the interior, however, I believe the upkeep will draw more women. You have an excellent little place. Bravo to the ones who decorated it!

Pick your own room!!

Upon arriving no one was available to greet, confirm payment, provide keys. I was assigned room after looking at email confirmation. I found the assigned room which was locked and by appearance through the window wasn’t even cleaned from last use. Found 2 other rooms that were not locked. It was around midnight and needed something to lay my head on so I took the cleaner of the 2 rooms. Whole place felt overly humid and wet inside. Woke a few hours later to see office was still vacant so resumed my travels. I later received an email from the location asking that if I leave a good review they would offer me a discount for future visits. Seems like they already know they don’t run a quality establishment by soliciting for good reviews.

It is fine if you just need a bed to sleep on and nothing else. I love the no paperwork on check-in- key already sitting on the counter when we arrived. But... Our shower didn't work, and the front office was always locked when we stopped by for something. We slept and left. It was fine. Management sent us an email saying including those things in reviews was silly because they would fix it if people would just text them. I really didn't want to stand in a monsoon puddle to get their number (taped to office door) at 11:00pm when the power was out, so chose to handle it different ways. I wasn't going to leave a review until they emailed offering a discount to leave one that was just positive. Personally, instead of calling these reviews silly, I think they should take the feedback and improve- include enough towels to last 3 nights of you aren't going to provide cleaning service the entire time we are there. (I don't want to have to text someone to get towels at 11pm after running through a rain storm to learn we didn't get new ones that day. Why did I only have 2 begin with?) Hot water coming out of BOTH faucets? Again ... Not a problem I want fixed at 11pm after texting someone. I am fine if my review is labeled silly. I think sending me an email complaining about previous customers being honest online is silly.
