“My husband and I stayed 2 nights in June. Karla was there to greet us on our early 10 am arrival and allowed us to check in early and provided some great dining recommendations. The room was extremely well appointed (espresso in room, all the standard amenities one expects from a hotel and even had a flat iron for my hair). “There is very little parking and you can get blocked in. It is a very long steep climb from old town to the apartment. To compensate for this it has a marvellous view overlooking Dubrovnik.”

The Scalini Palace is located in an excellent location, very close to the Main Street, taking us just a few steps to Stradun. No lift, same as many other hotels/apartments in the old town, so you have to walk upstairs to the floor you stay.……

A few negatives was the kitchen area was a bit dirty, with mugs left in the dish washer and floors could do with a clean.
