“The room at the Vivaldi was lovely and the air conditioning worked well which was important because we were there in a heat wave. The caretaker, Luka, was very helpful and allowed us to check in early. He was responsive to all of our questions. There is no front desk here so they won’t store your luggage for you. Old Town Dubrovnik is a very cool and beautiful city but the important thing to know is that there are a lot of steps, and I mean a lot!!! The Vivaldi sits towards the top of the wall……

“My husband and I stayed 2 nights in June. Karla was there to greet us on our early 10 am arrival and allowed us to check in early and provided some great dining recommendations. The room was extremely well appointed (espresso in room, all the standard amenities one expects from a hotel and even had a flat iron for my hair). “The property is very nice, with a lovely court yard and excellent location for Dubrovnik as long as you can manage 80 steep steps from Stradun. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby. A few negatives was the kitchen area was a bit dirty, with mugs left in the dish washer and floors could do with a clean.
