Top Lómagnúpur Hotel Reviews
Hotel Laki
10/10 Excellent
"Es un lugar muy bonito pero el personal es muy parco. Nos tocó habitaciones antiguas así que nada que ver con el resto de instalaciones"
Fosshotel Glacier Lagoon
10/10 Excellent
"beautiful views and excellent service"
Stracta Apartments
8/10 Good
"DO NOT follow your rental car GPS to these apartments! Our GPS took us too far east on the Ring Road and down a narrow, rocky path. We almost high-centered our car on lava rock and had to back out to avoid getting stuck. If we had been able to go further, the car would have ended up in a lake. Luckily, we were able to call the apartments and get better directions. Shout out to Diego for his unwavering patience and calming voice on the other end of the line so late at night. When we did arrive, the space was pristine and cozy with everything we needed for a two night stay. Do yourself a favor and follow the directions provided on the hotel website! Once you arrive, this is a lovely, quiet stay - a great place to view the northern lights."
Hotel Skaftafell
10/10 Excellent
"The hotel was very nice. Dinner was excellent! Literally one of our best meals! I was nervous because I couldn’t fine a menu online, but fantastic!! The staff was super helpful and informative when there was a wind warning and the roads were closed. We booked a triple room, was tight with 3 big suitcases, but we also realized that going in."
Klausturhof Guesthouse
10/10 Excellent
"Clean and comfortable room! We had dinner at the restaurant next door and it was very good! Breakfast is a pre-made plate for quests, it was fine for me, there’s coffee and tea as well! There is a beautiful waterfall behind the property and you can hike to the top of the mountain, there is a beautiful view! Great stay during a road trip!"
Fosshotel Núpar
10/10 Excellent
"Great location for northern lights viewing as each room has a door to the outside. Breakfast was great with lots of varieties."
Hörgsland Guesthouse
10/10 Excellent
"We stayed in the family room, which is spacious and had its own private bathroom. Breakfast was convenient. The kitchenette/fridge is shared in the common area, but had no issues"
Landbrot Guesthouse
10/10 Excellent
"Staff was very helpful. The area is very quiet since it’s somewhat remote from any cities. The restaurant had excellent food for dinner and breakfast. A good view of the surrounding landscape from most rooms."
Dalshöfði Guesthouse
10/10 Excellent
"The apartment was spotless, and the check-in and check-out instructions were easy to follow. Plus, we had to drive a few miles on a gravel road to get there, which added a bit of adventure. The view was also lovely!"
