"Beautiful place, conveniently located. We had a celebration and we were made to feel very special. Only one very disappointing experience at the Spa marred our stay. Hotel offered a free treatment but as we were leaving the next day it was of no use to us. They should have offered refund. All in all it was fun. Loved the lounge, the food at Madhu’s."

"We got a room in the basement for this last stay. Never again! Our first night in particular was really disturbed. The previous time we stayed was perfect but will ensure I ask for a non basement room next time. Staff at this hotel are lovely, the rooms are of a good standard and value for money but my advice is steer clear of the basement"

"Website really clear that there's no lift A message to reception ensured we didn't have too far to walk etc with mobility problems. Room was accessible, comfortable beds Dinner in the restaurant was really good. Recommend the fish and chips and chocolate orange torte. We didn't pay for breakfast so can't comment "

"Stayed here for 2 nights for work. I booked as the information on the Hotels.com website stated it had a car park. Please note that the hotel car park is just 12 spaces - there is a large public car park right behind this. You have to pay for both. Room was okay, large desk for working at, bed and ensuite were good. Step up into ensuite. There was lots of places to eat within 10-15 minutes walk, so I did not eat at the hotel."
