Neglected and Dirty

Poorly maintained and showing signs of neglect. 1. Dirty. No pillow protectors, frayed pillow cases and several hairs in the bed. Grubby cushions & blanket; only place to put them is the dusty floor... then they're put back on the bed for the next guest. Fluff in every corner. Dust on the crockery shelves. Black mould in the shower room. 2. Poor Maintenance. See photos - 2 heavy door panels fell off the wall when I tried to close the shower. Also the shower head sprays sideways rather than down because the ceiling is so low. Uneven and sharp broken floor tiles. 3. The entrance door is at the end of the bed (almost touching it) - you will hear every person walking past in the hallway. We left and paid for another hotel. The owners made no comment about the dangerous state of the shower.

Poorly maintained & dirty

Bed linnen was old,worn and poorly cleaned. Several hairs. No pillow protectors. Shower enclosure fell off wall (literally; 2 heavy glass pannels fell into the small shower space because the enclosure wasnt properly attached to the wall) Broken and sharp floor tile in shower room. Dust bunnies in every corner. We left and stayed elsewhere.

Stepping into the so called cosy en-suite, I was greeted not by comfort but by a grim reminder of the establishment utter neglect. The bathroom supposedly en-suite was a breeding ground for filth. A far cry from the cleanliness one will expect. The tiles in the bathroom were broken and at its exorbitant price the room lacked even the most basic amenities promised leaving me swindled and deceived. To make matters worse I was promised access to Netflix which even didn’t work. Avoid at all cost.

Despite some hiccups in getting information from the owner, the rooms offered, when including the location and amenities, are good value. Needs to be a bit more cleanly, as room (especially floor) was dusty from what seems was construction wor. But everything else fine Would Stay again!
