Room clean, modern and nice to stay in. Great facilities in the hotel including free breakfast and drinks. Good location to get tube or bus into London. I stayed for trip to O2 event. Took about 25 mins on bus. Great. Also worth mentioning friendly and helpful staff.

The property looked far better online than in reality. Room was not pleasant, it wasn’t an enjoyable stay. Hardly any amenities in the room, noisy air conditioning and hard bed.

Das Hotel DC verfügt über alles was man für einen Städtetrip braucht. Das Frühstück war ausreichend aber auch nicht mehr. Es gab typisch English Breakfast mit Ei, Bohnen und Peanut Butter. Die Brotauswahl war mit Toast, welches man sich selbstständig aus der Plastilverpackung wie zu Hause nehmen musste allerdings mangelhaft. Zudem war unser Zimmer im Untergeschloss, welches zwar Fenster enthielt, die Sicht aber nur auf eine Wand gerichtet war. Auch bekamen wir ein behinderten gerechtes Zimmer mit entsprechender Ausstattung, ohne eines bestellt zu haben. Die Verkehrsanbindung ist sehr gut. Nach 15 min Fußweg ist man an der Station Forrest Gate der Elizabeth Line und ist innerhalb von weiteren 15 min in der Innenstadt. Vor dem Haus fahren direkt 3 Buslinien. Die Gegend ist vor Allem rund um die Station Forrest Gate und unweit des Hotels ist allerdings sehr dreckig und wenig einladend. Alles in einem war alles da was man braucht. Wenn man allerdings in ruhiger Gegend und schönem Ambiente wohnen möchte ist man hier falsch.

Room and staff excellent. My only issue was parking. It wasn’t clear that it would be an extra £15 to park and I thought I had bought 24 hrs parking, but had to vacate spot at check-out.

I did not get any sleep in this property as our room was under the dining room. Guests came in throughout the night up to 2.30am and walked back and firth over the dining room for a free drink. Then at 5am the staff prepared the room for 7.30am breakfast. Luckily my daughter slept because she had an ear infection and was on antibiotics, her friend did not have her hearing aids in. I brought the noise level to the attention of the staff at 12.30am and he said it was because we were over the dining room. I informed the staff member at 6am that I had not got any sleep and he said he would inform the manager. No compensation was over, just we will have to do better next time. Thats not good enough,you book an hotel room to get a goid ights sleep- period!!! I will be pytting a dormal complaint in now.

I thought I should have booked a taxi by Uber before leaving the ticket gate of the nearest hotel. As long as I make a reservation in advance, I think it's a recommended hotel where women can travel cheaply and safely even if they travel alone. When using hotels in London and its suburbs, I think you can enjoy a very wonderful trip if you collect information such as geography and security in advance. I'm very sorry that I can't use it because of my lack of reach. The next time I visit London, I would like to make a taxi reservation in advance and then use your hotel. Thank you very much !

Staff were really lovely, close to the London stadium walking approx 20 mins, area is pretty run down which isn’t the hotels fault. Lovely decor in the reception. Room was smaller than I thought but ok for the night, bathroom really nicely done, room itself, paint peeling from the wall and soundproofing was awful, could hear next door putting a plug in the socket, talking, coughing, above walking across the room, all normal but affected our sleep. Breakfast was nice, be lovely if they had some fruit and more pastries as options.

The people were really nice and friendly. The rooms were kinda small but clean and with good beds. It would have been nice to have a litlle wardrobe to storage clothes. The breakfast was simple but always fresh and tasty. All in one I would recommend staying in Hotel DC. Thanks for having us.

Proper hotel for London standards. Had a small room in the basement which was relatively clean (found a few cobwebs on the ceiling and the corners of the shower showed some damages. It was clean besides that). Unfortunately, the stairs were wood and the rooms not very noise-free, so I’d wake up quite a few times during the night. Breakfast was fine, with eggs, beans, hashbrowns, cereal and slides of bread available. There are bus stops just outside the property with regular bus services to Stratford, from which there are a lot of different connections into Central London. Very friendly and accommodating staff. All in all, a good place to stay for London standards.

Beautiful refurbishment - shower, air con, decor etc all new. Lovely room. Very friendly, welcoming staff. A full English breakfast was included in the price, which was very much appreciated. Would not hesitate to recommend.
