Great stay for the price

I stayed here recently and overall thought it was a good value for the price. The space had everything I needed for a short stay, and the location was convenient. That said, there are a few areas that could be improved to make it even better. The place could have been a little cleaner, and it would be nice to have a small desk or table for working or eating. The mattress, pillows, and bed could also use a refresh to make it more comfortable. All in all, it worked well for the budget, but with a few updates it could be a really great stay.

Wonderful location... Stone's throw from petticoat and brick Lane. A number of flights of stairs up to the room so pack light! Loved the location

Really bad cooling. Toilet door is almost see through. We couldn’t sleep at night due to hot temperature in the room. It didn’t help even when we opened the window. There is only in table fan but it’s not enough for three people. The host didn’t reply to the messages when we informed him about the issues we had. I will never recommend this property to anyone.

Not the best place to stay

No table to work on. The only surface to make coffee was the top of the fridge. The curtains did not have a proper rail. The cutlery was dirty with food from previous tenants. The bathroom did not have any place to put toiletries and the place was extremely noisy - both from other guests and outside noise. Additionally the Wi-Fi was more down than up.

L’unica cosa positiva della struttura è stata la posizione. Sicuramente a questo prezzo a Londra non ci si può aspettare troppo, ma neanche troppo poco. Purtroppo il disagio più grande è stato la doccia non funzionante, e nonostante la segnalazione non è stato trovato alcun rimedio e si può immaginare il disagio che questo ha causato. Altro grande problema è stato il letto ( se così possiamo chiamarlo) della “room A” purtroppo il materasso era completamente inesistente , non è ammissibile che si dorma su quel letto, andrebbe cambiato immediatamente, in più era un cigolio continuo al minimo spostamento il rumore si sentiva fin da fuori la stanza. Inoltre, non troppo importanti ma visti i diversi disagi preferisco elencare tutto, un’anta dell’armadio era rotta e l’avevano appoggiata al muro e una delle tende della finestra non funzionava. Capisco il prezzo vantaggioso e la posizione, ma non ne vale davvero la pena. In giro si trova di meglio.

Nice location anf room but leak needs to be fixed

First off the the room is nice, great location and I was able to WhatsApp the owner to help with getting in and he was helpful and quick to reply. However the room has a leak directly above the toilet and a bin was placed on the toilet to collect this. I emptied the the orange coloured water down the sink. The owner informed me it was rain water and he knew about the leak and offered to send a cleaner round of needed. Cleaner not needed but it meant the toilet was unusable unless you have an umbrella which I didn't. Also meant there was a constant dripping all night. The room could be very good but with the leak shouldn't be let out in this state.

The property was convenient and had everything we needed. It's actually a fairly generous size compared to hotel rooms in London, which are generally very small. There was hot water and good water pressure in the shower. The bed was adequate and things were clean. The room we stayed in was on the second floor, so we had to climb a lot of steps to get there and there is no elevator. This wasn't really apparent in the listing. There was some noise off the street - if you are a light sleeper that might bother you.

I never end up staying there check in is at 3pm I got there exactly 3pm.... waited and waited no one answered the door I called the 10 times no answer I waited outside the building for about 40 minutes no one came..... then the person messaged me 1 hour later when I already find another hotel nearby cuz I can’t just be waiting outside in the rain..... and the money was taken from my account for what I did not even stay.... rubbish place 😡😡😡😡😡

Abbiamo soggiornato nella camera matrimoniale Basic A per 4 notti durante l' ultima settimana di Agosto. La camera è ideale per due persone. Pulitissima e abbastanza spaziosa. Dotata di televisione, bollitore con te o nescafe per la colazione, ventilatore, phon, frigobar e tende oscuranti. Il letto è abbastanza spazioso anche se le reti sono parecchio rumorose e la vicinanza al frigorifero non aiuta. Il proprietario è molto disponibile, sempre raggiungibile via what's up per problemi di check-in e check-out.  L'appartamento si trova in un quartiere centrale a 5 minuti a piedi dalla fermata della metropolitana di aldgate East, vicino a ristoranti, pub, Old Spitalfields Market e supermercato Tesco.  Facili i collegamenti con Stanstead, vista la vicinanza alla stazione di Liverpool Street. Uniche cose negative che abbiamo riscontrato sono le finestre difficili se non impossibili da aprire e le molte scale di entrata (3 piani) abbastanza trascurate.  Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Lo consiglio!

Ett rum för kanske max 2 personer och definitivt inte som vi 4. Svårt att checka in eftersom det behövdes en app för uthyraren som skulle bekräfta att det var vi som bokat rummet som vi trodde bestod av 3 rum och inte 1 rum på ca 10kvm, katastrof att vara 4 med packning. Dessutom fanns det endast lakan för 2 så vi fick vänta på ytterligare 2. Jag kan absolut inte rekommendera detta till någon är också överraskad att det finns på hotels.com sida vilket man undrar hur de tänkt. Mardrömsgrupp att bo i!

We didn't even end up staying here. I was reading the comments a few days before we were to arrive and it said that it was just a room with one bed and a bathroom. There is no way to contact the "hotel" or hotels.com. Very mislead by the pictures and that it said 4 people would fit. They also were bad at communicating and wanted me to download WhatsApp. I couldn't make an account because you had to confirm your phone # with a text code and I cant use my phone in Europe without being charged fees. We ended up staying somewhere else.

The location of this room is amazing - a short walk from Liverpool Street Station and minutes away from the lively Spitalfields area. The host contacted a day earlier to arrange self check in - the instructions were clear and the check in was seamless. The room itself met London standards for size and the en-suite was a good touch. However the room overlooks the main road and having to keep the window closed to avoid street noise made the room uncomfortably warm during the night. A fan during the summer months would be a welcome addition. The room was clean however the bed is definitely of an older vintage and on the uncomfortable side. Creaking springs are not usually compatible with a restful night's sleep. The bed linen though clean could do with an update ( or at least the use of fabric conditioner to add a pleasant smell and fresher feel). Finally I was unlucky to have noisy neighbours in the next room who were up till the wee hours of the night. However the room was good value for my single night stay and the wifi worked well. I would recommend the room based on location - basic without any frills.

Property was OK. Blind had been broken at some point, there was zero soundproofing between the apartments and I spent most of the first night there listening to the bed next door squeaking. Would not recommend if you have heavy luggage or have just come off long international flights as there are a LOT of stairs to get to the room. Location was superb, lots of cute cafes and bars a short walk out the door and to the right.
