Please be very wary if you decide to book this stay. 1. Communication with the host was very delayed. We were not told, until that morning right before we were to check in, that we had to take the stairs up six flights to the apartment. The elevator was not working and the building was waiting for parts. This was not communicated to us prior to the day we were to check in. 2. Location- while the location to the left of the building was great, the actual street it was located on was not great. Due to there being no air conditioning (also be aware of this before you book in the summer), the windows were kept open. There were people loudly ranting throughout the night, which kept us up. 3. The communication was what was lacking the most. The host was not clear about the elevator and took an extremely long time to get back to us about how to use the dryer function on the washer/dryer. We had to hang our clothes around the apartment. Additionally, while we were staying there, the building had a "surprise" inspection of the apartment. Unfortunately, we would not recommend this apartment.

The owner was very receptive to any communications and answered promptly. We were there in a heat wave and there was no fan available. We had to leave the windows open at night and it was very loud!!! This led to restless nights, which was difficult after a long journey. The building itself needs new interior paint and clean carpets it was a bit concerning. The apartment itself was nice.

Old seedy building. The elevators haven’t worked for two years according to the Concierge. They will take you up in the service elevator but some of them don’t want to and made us feel very uncomfortable. The apartment itself was tolerable, but the bedding was old, and it was hot and very noisy. Nowhere to eat except ethnic food.Would definitely not recommend.
