Room was clean, one double bed is what we asked for. for heart of London, it was worth the stay, desk staff nice and helpful. Breakfast was plentyful, but scrambled eggs were dry and powdery. we would stay again for the convenience

The noise from other guests was very loud and kept me and my autistic daughter awake for hours when we had to be up at 3am. Not only were other guests loud the staff (security) decided to stand in the car park at 2am chatting smoking and being very loud for about 30 minutes. I was bitten about 4 times but saw no nats and had the window closed. The hotel is very dated and hard to move suitcases along the carpet/floors. There was no suger or milk for drinks so went down for some. Then tried to work the tv the remote didnt work so had to go down again, the new one also didnt work so didnt watch tv. The shower had no pressure so took ages to shower. I think this hotel seriously needs a complete makeover in every way possible.

I thought the hotel was good value and conveniently situated for Kings Cross. Staff were helpful. The area nearby is a little run down but did not feel unsafe. A shame there is no free WIFI though having breakfast is a bonus

Outstanding value!

Admittedly Wi-Fi quality or a luxurious stay were not amongst my priorities when choosing this hotel but to crash at a safe, clean and lower cost place in central London were. To these priorities the place delivers an outstanding value, more so than any other place I have ever stayed to in the area. Will definitely return!

The room was clean and bed comfy. Unfortunately on arrival I was told my booking had been cancelled a few days before, I had been scammed and the scammers had pretended to send me emails as hotels.com and phoned me. I didn't answer either of these numbers calls and emails, but they managed to contact the Travelodge and cancel my booking. Staff were really helpful and I booked though the Travelodge website and was given a receipt. After contacting hotels com through live chat I received a full refund. Hotels.com staff said my booking was still live with them and they contacted Travelodge. I was impressed with the speed of this, but hope it doesn't happen again. Thank you to both sets of staff. 😊👍

Good location but smallish rooms

Location was great - 10 minute walk from kings cross underground. Breakfast buffet was good too. Two major negatives - rooms are tiny. Hard to navigate room with luggage. Shower also tiny.

This was my first time at a Travelodge and I'd gladly return. The staff was friendly, the room was clean and more spacious than I'd expected and the bed was very comfortable. My only minor complaint was that the water was scalding hot coming out of the bathroom tap at the sink. The room has a kettle, which was a nice touch. Overall it was a convenient place to stay and as an older solo traveler, it met all of my needs nicely.

There just seemed to be queues in this hotel all the time, to check in, for breakfast. Which was not the most efficient service, although the food itself was pretty good. Biggest bug bare, was my hubbys Guinness was in a Budweiser glass… Very noisy during the night outside, could do with better soundproofing windows

Conveniently located near public transit and some sites of interest, the hotel itself is somewhat difficult to locate in the warren of street near the station. The rooms, though not particularly small, were not well laid out or furnished; for example, there was no place to put open luggage, no towel racks, etc. Breakfast options were limited but adequate. Free WiFi Internet access was only available in one 30-minute block once every 24 hours (which is not the same as once per calendar day, as this restriction meant that if, for example, on the first day one accessed the WiFi Internet at 7:00 PM, one would only be able to access that free WiFi Internet after 7:00 PM the second day, and so on.
