Conveniently located to get into Leytonstone. The room was quite small and basic, and a little tired looking but was clean and the bed was comfortable. Check-in was simple and the staff we met were friendly. Would definitely use this hotel again.

Good location but the room was very hot with no working air con, the room had two beds but only one was made with no spare bedding, the pillows were awful and bedding was clean but stained, beds were very creaky, none of the small lights worked, all bedside tables were fighting for their life to stay upright, nowhere to put clothes, no soap or shower gel in the shower, and as for the towels - see the photo! Didn’t smell but could be cleaner, host was friendly however. Would not stay again.

The room was comfortable and we slept very well; it needed a more thorough clean as did the communal refrigerator, but it was so convenient to have refrigeration. Staff friendly and helpful. We always had a place to park and it’s almost immediate access to the A12. Petrol station <1 minute walk also very convenient!

Nice walk away from some great sights in area (birthplace of Alfred Hitchcock) and trains as well. Manager was very helpful, only issue was door was a little sticky and needed a tug/push to close when leaving or going into room.

An average stay

My stay here was good, although the room was a bit sparse of anything, such as a teaspoon for hot drinks and some shower gel in the shower, these would’ve been appreciated. Also, a large amount of dust in the bathroom.
