“Lots to do in a remote location. Pool was nice, an outdoor playground and trails. My 6 yo grandson and I throughly enjoyed ourselves. Wifi is extremely slow, ATT was weak and no TV in room. But still a good time ”

“We enjoyed our stay, beautiful drive and scenery in the daytime, the lake was gorgeous. The room was clean and cozy, loved the books, and decorations. The patio gave an amazing view of the lake. Gym, Hot tub and bbq was extremely convenient only down fall for us anyway was the sauna was out of order for my husband, they were doing alarm testing so we had it going off for a couple of hours at 10 am, then they had to come inside which was inconvenient. I would recommend more coffee packets, and……

“Amazing location, close to State Parks and numerous trails. Outstanding hosts! The property itself is perfect to retreat and enjoy all nature has to offer while having comforts at hand. The camper was the cutest and the area around it invites to relax. The bathhouse is equipped with more than essentials, snacks, water, coffee, toiletries, towels, and washer/dryer available. And…it’s dog friendly!!! Truly exceptional. Will definitely return!”

“We absolutely loved our stay at Fiddler’s Creekside! The property has so many amazing views and spots to explore and is full of birds, butterflies and wildflowers. The creek water was wonderfully clear and so fun to canoe around on. The treehouse-like deck and front porch of the cabin are so relaxing to hang out on and sip your coffee or cold beer. We loved this place so much that we decided to skip 3 days of planned excursions and spend the rest of our time at this magical place! The interior……

“I was there for a wedding and the property was very near and turned out to be adorable.. I felt very safe and enjoyed the peacefulness and gated entrance was added security..My host was very helpful is seeing if I was settled in and had great recommendations for local food. Will use them again..”

“Loved the character of the house and the location is great — direct walking/golf cart path to the water. Our two dogs loved the yard and being able to swim. We saw lots of deer in the mornings and evening. Sunrises/sunsets were amazing. House was clean and comfortable! Thanks for sharing!”

The abundant natural light throughout the condo complimented the cheery sunflower decor which was perfect for our escape from the last dreary weeks of winter in Chicago. We loved watching the sunrise from our terrace and appreciated the desk/work space tucked away in the living room. This location is secluded enough to feel like a get-away, but still close to many fun……

“Beautiful and well maintained property. Check in and out were a breeze. Quiet place out in the country. Great escape from the city. House was clean but small. No ice maker, stove did not work, no pans provided, and no TV. Main sleeping quarters was upstairs via a ladder which was sketchy. We slept on the sofa on the main floor. For safety purposes a railing is needed around the main sleeping quarters. The ladder takes up too much room. Needs to be able to be stowed away to create extra room on……

They made it easy for us to check in late, and when we arrived, there were eclipse cookies, glasses, water, and a handwritten note to welcome us! The staff was wonderful, the breakfast was great, our whole stay was fantastic. Beautiful hotel. The Sleep Inn helped make this trip amazing. ”
