The Hideaway Lodge on Big Cypress Bayou is the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of life! Pack your bags and enjoy the peace this cove has to offer. This home is at a PRIME location on the Karnack River where you can sit on the deck under large cypress trees and watch the boats travel up and down the canal. Take the kayaks and paddle boats, fish and explore! Gorgeous sunsets await - This home has it all including a 60 in flat screen TV, wifi, leather couch, & large covered balcony!

Lots of issues, lots of promises
This property is as pictured but had many issues. The key provided did not open the door and we waited over an hour for assistance. Credit promised, not delivered. The description of the bath in the master did not state that a step down was necessary. Unsafe for both couples staying. The internet and TV were not working the first day. Credit promised, not delivered. The water at this house, but not at the neighbors was cut off the third full day for several hours. Credit promised, not delivered. Inside the house was moderately clean (shower small and not well maintained), outside not well maintained. One partial roll of paper towels. No washcloths in the bathing area. Found in hall closet. Prepared several meals. No serving spoons provided. Multiple attempts to give the owners a chance to honor the reimbursements promised. Gave verbal promises multiple times but no reimbursement after 6 weeks. Worst VRBO experience yet. General setting was nice.

Good for our fishing trip
Enjoyed our stay, it was in a good location for our fishing trip and accommodations were more than sufficient. Cell service is not good in the area but we had no issues with the wifi. Would stay again.
