Awesome for a group trip to Lopez!

This house was in the best location, walkable to the farmers market and "downtown" area. The house was big and the layout was conducive to hanging out and cooking/eating together.

Great location beside the Village

Nice property right across the street from Village Road so right beside the main part of Lopez Village. Place is as advertised and was well organized and clean. Stayed with friends during the Tour de Lopez fund raising bike ride. I would stay here again.

great location

Great private location near to village. Three spacious bedrooms and spacious living area. However, the landing sleeper couch was really only big enough for 2 children and not 2 adults. Overall a great property but it could do with a bit of TLC

Good location

Make arrangements if you don’t have a car from the ferry before hand. Taxi was unavailable. Great location, but the place could’ve been cleaner, dust, bunnies, etc.

Fantastic

Great house, great location! The kitchen was well stocked and really fun to cook in. The porch was key that even when it rained we could have shelter and eat outside. It is a nice house for adults, but I have an 8 year old and it was great to find games, puzzles, books and movies for her to enjoy as well. We loved being near (ok across the street) from the village, the open spaced view with the changing clouds and sky was lovely. We will hopefully get to stay here again.

Great location with wonderful views

We loved being able to walk into town. There were two grocery stores within 5-7 minutes from the house. The evening sunsets were spectacular. We also liked that the living room had enough seating for all 6 adults to sit around comfortably. The bedrooms were large and comfortable. We did run out of water as the house is on a well and it had been very dry during the summer. (We were there end of August/early September.)

Beautiful property walking distance from Lopez Village

Beautiful property just across the road from Lopez Village. Perfect for a birthday weekend gathering for a group of friends. Easy walk to restaurants in town. Description is accurate, a beautiful sunset view! House was mostly clean, but the dishwasher was broken and we ended up having to hand wash many dishes. Vacasa, the property manager kindly refunded our cleaning fee and said they had scheduled a technician to look into the problem.

Wonderful Views

The house is spacious and is well stocked. The two beds downstairs are comfortable. Nobody used the upstairs bed. There are skylights with no blinds in the upstairs bedroom. Shower is excellent. Location is across from the village and it is an easy walk to town. The house is private and although it does not have the most modern decor it is still great. The natural light and the sunset views are unbeatable.

Wonderful home near Lopez Village

We loved the Sunset View house for our family of 4. The location was terrific with easy walking to the Village, and the house felt spacious and comfortable. Especially loved the view from the dining room/deck with open French doors. The resident bunnies were charming and beds were comfy. We brought sleep masks for the upstairs master bedroom which has skylights, and ended up needing to stagger showers/dishwasher due to the well water. Lopez is a rural island - which was good to keep in mind during our stay - we had a maintenance issue which was fixed the following day, and weren’t able to stream movies part of the time. All in all we loved our stay at this house!

Almost perfect

The location cannot be beat. The home is comfortable and has everything one would need including a fully stocked kitchen which came in very handy as we were cooking our Thanksgiving meal. The only thing keeping me from giving this home a 5 star review is its cleanliness. The refrigerator was dirty and under the beds it was very dusty. And the beds are very squeaky. It made it hard to sleep.

Great location

Super comfortable house just across the street from Blossom Grocery with beautiful view of the sunset. Big covered porch with west facing views. Private, great location, spacious. Needs some maintenance, screens have gaps, vents are dusty, blinds kind of broken upstairs. Dishwasher didn’t work. Upstairs got very hot in sunny days, should provide a few large fans (no AC) and some type of blinds for 2 large skylights in the upstairs bedroom. Would stay there again though.

Village jewel, needs updates

We returned to this lovely house 15 years later hoping to recapture wonderful family memories on Lopez. The location and Fisherman’s Bay views from Sunset View house are still lovely, walkable to the village, and we enjoyed family time together here again. However, the house needs quite a bit of maintenance and upkeep. Screens torn, dishwasher not working, hot water tank very limited, moss and mold creeping through windows, bathrooms not cleaned, lots of wear and tear inside. The bones of the house are still wonderful, but deferred maintenance is catching up. We hope Sunset View house will sparkle again soon.

Wonderful place and great location

This is a great, comfortable place with a well-stocked kitchen. It is on a large piece of property with views of the town and water. The town is within an easy walk and has great stores, bakeries, restaurants and coffee. Only reasons we gave a couple 4* is the ceiling in the upstairs bedroom was a head-bumper in spots and we also found it challenging to work the door lock. Look forward to staying there again.

comfortable, private house with a wonderful view and proximity to town

We had a great stay at this house. It's just around the corner from town on a quiet, private property with a wonderful view. The furniture is a bit run down but very cozy. No queen beds--only full--but they were comfortable. Lots of extra towels and sheets/blankets. Cleaning could be improved a little but overall a great rental.

Lopez Island

This house was cozy, very clean, and spacious. We cooked and the house was equipped with a plethora of kitchen appliances and cookware that made making meals convenient and easy. The rooms were very clean and the bathrooms were clean with an abundance of towels for all uses.

Comfortable, great location, and holy-natural light!!

We felt like absolute Lopez locals staying in this clean, airy, and extremely comfortable family home. It is walking distance into the town (i.e. farmer's market, beer garden, groceries, restaurants) and just 8 minutes from the ferry terminal - was truly the perfect location for our 4 day stay on-island as first-timers. Sunsets (and sunrises) from the porch were breathtaking. We highly recommend this place as the way to experience this very special island. Cannot wait to return.
