“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this historic cottage. We walked to many areas in Natchez and really enjoyed our morning coffee on the front porch. If you like historical homes and don't mind that they are still bring renovated, then you will thoroughly enjoy this place.”

They were extremely responsive and even came over to help us with the TV on the same day as they were heading out of town! “We enjoyed our stay at the Carriage Cottage very much. The owner was very accommodating to our needs. Everything was clean, kitchen well equipped, and king bed was very comfortable. My only suggestion is to change out the sofa in living area to something more comfortable. Hope we can stay again sometime.”

“The property was perfect for what we needed. First time visit to Natchez so close to all the sights we were going to see. Several great restaurants within walking distance. Richard was a great host. Responded very quickly to any question. The place was very clean and well stocked with lots of extras. The a/c worked great. The only disadvantage was the stairs for 3 older women carrying luggage but we managed. Would stay there again.”

“This was our 2nd stay at this wonderful little cottage. The 1st time with family and this time with friends. It is so comfortable, has plenty of room, and porch off the side is an added bonus, especially while listening to the rain. The large backyard is beautiful and the house is well stocked. The best part however are the owners! They are extremely accommodating, friendly, and great to work with. I think we have found our home away from home whenever we come to Natchez to visit family and……

“Sweet Aunties cottage was absolutely fantastic. End of street was so quiet and peaceful. Cottage was perfect for a couple. Everything was clean and inviting. And to top it all off was the hosts were fantastic. Friendly ,informative, and gracious. They made the stay homely. Thanks Ricky and Wanda. So with all said out of a five star I would give this place and its host a 10 !!!”

“Plans for this weekend were cancelled so off we came to beautiful Natchez. We have previously stayed at The Gaol and Mr. Richard's other properties. The Gaol is always neat, clean and provides snacks and WINE. Love being on Franklin Street for all shopping! Don't worry we will be back again! Totally recommend!!”

“It would have been nice to enjoy the spring weather but the chairs were dirty. Bugs get inside because there is no weatherstripping on the doors.”

“Loved the place and will stay there again. Everything you need is there. Convenient location. Only suggestion is there needs to be a curtain on the window in the back bedroom. People going up and down the stairs can see into that room. Lack of privacy issue. The living room has that problem also with the apartments across the street. That issue should be fixed.”

“My family and I stayed at Canemount because my daughter was graduating from Alcorn University. This B&B was a gem in prime location with amazing owners. Diane was very accommodating, helpful and a wealth of nearby location information. The home cooked breakfast hit the spot daily. I highly recommend this B&B to anyone visiting Lorman, MS. ”
