We really enjoyed our stay the location was great for us. Being able to use the bikes also was nice to get around town in a relaxed way. The staff was very nice and happy hour was a nice touch. The only feedback might be the signature sent in the lobby it may bother some people who are sensitive.

Overall the stay was very nice; however, for an high end hotel the cost of parking at the hotel should not be $55. The room was clean and the staff were cordial. The negative item was that the doors to the rooms slam shut so during the early hours of the morning the door to the room with a common wall slammed shut and I could not get back to sleep. As upscale as this hotel is, there are devices that slowly and noiselessly closes doors without the loud sounds and reverberations.

This is an excellent boutique hotel in a great location. I would compare to a Westin but on a smaller scale. Everything was great but a couple of the front desk folks were so friendly but not a deal breaker either.

Great stay - the staff was genuine and welcoming, coffee and lemon water always available made for some wonderful sit-on-the-beautiful-patio-and-relax moments, parking was easy and convenient. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat!

The Ambrose is a wonderful hotel within striking distance of the Santa Monica Pier. The staff is incredibly helpful, and the daily (5pm-7pm) complimentary wine and craft beer service is a nice touch. There is also a great brunch place (Tartine) across the street. It was a great stay.

The place was excellent. I was very clean and comfortable. Quiet, staff was amazing. Really appreciated the water and coffee when we needed it. We will definitely be back! Great location for our needs as well.

Car and drivers were phenomenal. Clean hotel, helpful staff. The only thing I didn’t like about this hotel was lack of children’s amenities and that it wasn’t ocean front.

The room was comfortable, the staff was very helpful and they had a happy hour. The Santa Monica pier is a 5-10 minute drive from the hotel and there a few nice places to eat around the area and a bakery just across the street.
